What made me happy today? First and foremost, going into Gamestop and being asked by employees if I was there to pick up my reserved copy of A:CM. I shook my head no and said, "I'm here to cancel my pre-order on that unholy sack of shit."

Look on the guys face was priceless, as it contained a mixture of disappointment and shame as he asked me again if I was sure about what I'd just said.

Needless to say, I'm glad I dodged a fucking bullet by being broke the day it came out and not being able to afford it.

I went to church. They had a potluck dinner afterwards (consiting of dishes made by various peoples Grandmas). Then I got to take some home with me after i had eaten my fill.

I found half a bottle of marsala in a drawer. As it was priced in lira I decided it might not be wise to drink it, however I used it to braise some pork shoulder. It was probably the most delicious thing I've ever cooked.

Today made me happy: I realized that cup noodles is such a great food. You only need to put boiling water, wait a few minutes and thats it. Its ready. No need to cook it or anything else. Its so convenient. Also canned food is great as well, you only need to open it, and eat. Nothing else. So convenient too.
