What made you join the Escapist

and loved it, i had watched ZP for a good long time, but when i saw that thread i joined

Someone at work sent me a link to a Zero Punctuation video. If I remember correctly, it was for the review Assassin's Creed II. I read several articles and watched a bunch of videos, but didn't sign up at the time.

I signed up later, to vote for a game developer (the one I work for, actually when a kind of show-down was going on. I can't remember who won.

I had watched Zero Punctuation for a long time, and Unskippable as well, before I decided to wander into the forums and decided to check out the Forum Games. There, I found a few threads that interested me and one even persuaded me to join, and so I did.

My bestfriend and I were talking about game reviewers, and we started talking about our favourites, mine (at the time) was Blunty3000, while my friends was ZP, after 2 days I watched every ZP and made an account, and thats how I joined the Escapist.

I was regularly watching about four different video series (ZP, Unskippable, Doomsday Arcade and There Will Be Brawl, if you haven't watched them then do so) early last year and then saw ads around the site for March Mayhem 2009. Curious as to what that was about, I signed up and then discovered the forums later that night.

Though it was a friend showing me Zero Punctuation's review of Too Human which first got me addicted to this place.
