If you've seen my bedroom than you can be of no doubt over that fact. Where do I start?...

1) I have every episode of Stargate on DVD
2) Basically all my books are Sci-Fi novels (primarily Warhammer 40k fiction) or science based non-fiction (plus some comics)
3) I have a signed photo of Christopher Judge (from Stargate)
4) I own all 3 Star Trek Technical manuals (if geekiness was a crime those would be a signed confession)
5) And here's a picture of me dressed as a Sith

I'm the one on the left

If you ever get a divorce can I marry her?

What?!

Just asking...

In my downtime, I research the Marvel and DC comic book mythology. I don't read many comic books but I can tell you about a few pivotal moments in their continuity.
If you give me half hour to prepare, I could easily absorb your entire life with questions...

If I was ever going to marry a woman, she'd be like that...that way she wouldn't mind all my nerdy wedding ideas.

I'm 22 years old, soon to graduate from UT, I've had three serious relationships, am relatively attractive and athletic, and I pretend to have swordfights when I'm alone.

OT: Probably the fact that I don't care what people think, I'll still break out singing the original Pokemon theme song on the bus randomly.

I write fanfiction, play D&D, have a large collection of RPGs for the NES, Super NES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Game Boy, GBA, DS, and Sega Genesis, have replicas of the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and the Ocarina of Time, and have watched more anime than would probably be considered healthy.

Though...I DO have a friend with more geek cred than I do. His dad was friends with and played D&D with Dave Arneson. Yes...THAT Arneson.

Umm, I think the only thing that makes me a nerd is that I love Star Wars. Oh and Harry Potter so does that count?

Besides having the badge to prove it? Well I guess the low-level tournament Magic: the Gathering, the love of RPGs tabletop and otherwise, the fact that I game all night and sleep all day and have no social life of any note would do it.

Oh, and considering where I've grown up, it's a miracle and a sign of true nerd-dom that I know any grammar at all. It's not perfect, but damn it I know how to form a sentence!

I play Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, and I'm going to start playing Firestorm Armada... but it's very fun.

several reasons:

1. I am to videogames as an addict is to heroin but worse.
2. I have drawn up several D&D characters, but have never actually played the game (apparently, D&D groups near me don't trust evil characters, neutral, lawful or chaotic)
3. I live by the Sith doctrine, and try to apply its core ideas (might makes right, the strongest rule, you rise according to merit, etc.) to my every day life.
4. I read books like I breathe oxygen, often and repeatedly.
5. my favorite sandwich is PB & J
6. I'm taking Visual Basic as a sophmore in high school. currently one of the top students
7. I despise showers. See #1 for why
8. I posess the vocabulary of an old British scholar
9. According to my sister I talk like someone from the 1800's
10. my worst enemy? jocks and cheerleaders. why cheerleaders? they're so cheery... p.s. my sister's a cheerleader. (we're mutual sources of shame)
11. Diehard Pepsi fan, down with Coke.
12. My dream job, since about 7 years old, has always been between presidency and a computer programmer

I spent 20 minutes during dinner explaining to my mother why the Star Wars prequal trilogy was a pile of shit and why my fiancee (who was also at dinner) is a pillock for liking it more than the original trilogy.

Damn, I love being a geek.
You did a good thing.

OT: What makes me an uber nerd? There is most space on my walls covered by posters then actual wall showing.

That is either the most awesome thing I have ever heard, of the single DORKIEST thing I have ever heard. Most likely both.

As for me, I don't really have a SINGLE thing that summs up my nerdiness, I'm more of a "buffet"-type nerd, indulging in basically everything nerdy (short of Harry Potter and DnD, oddly enough).

I've played a bunch of JRPGs, I've got a decent-sized collection of dvd boxsets, I've got manga and anime, my desk is currently occupied by a bunch of Beast Wars Transformers (specifically Tarantulas, Rattrap, Dinobot, and Rhinox, if you must know), I've got a desk drawer full of Power Ranger morphers, posters on my wall for Kingdom Hearts, South Park, and Nightmare Before Christmas, a Batarang with a full set of Lanturn Corp rings, a Death Note, a rather large collection of Batman movies (missing only a few of the animated ones and Batman Begins), and a huge stack of Magic: the Gathering and Yugioh cards.

I can paraphrase just about every book from Morrowind or Oblivion just by the title.
