Boredom and procrastination usually makes me do shit. This time I think I am at peace with the Jeremy Clarkson avatar, I feel it speaks to me on so many levels. There is a connection here that's quite deep..we both share the same madness..

I just get tired of a certain avatar or character. For the last one I didn't like staring at bright yellow all the time, so I switched to a different one of the same character. And then I found Maromi. Right now Maromi is perfect.

Originally I had a ZP Avatar (Yhatzee doing a wink and thumbs up from the Assasin's Creed review).
I changed that when I made this:

I changed it a couple of times for holidays/events such as March Madness, Summer, Halloween, etc. Then someone else stole it (Yes you Sewblon) who posts more than me, and wouldn't change it. So I switched to a Mysterious Blackbird, and now it's Winter variant.

I started with the Locke (FF6) avatar and kept it for over a year, but decided to kill two birds with one stone in changing it:
1) deflecting any "what do you look like?" queries (not that there were any, but...), and
2) creating a ready-made avatar identity---now I'm "that guy with the rat".

Especially the certain demi-god of this site who you photoshopped into a certain image *nudge nudge*.
I rarely change my avatar once I select one. Heck, I've used the same picture for my Facebook profile for 3 years now. I changed mine on this site once to a Hallowe'en themed eggy because I wanted to do something different (and because a fellow Escapist made it for me) but I doubt I'll change it again. I'm really attached to my eggy.
