I think most of the time I feel like a badass when I plan something, and then it works. For example, in Mass Effect I would plan on throwing someone into an explosive, then detonate that explosive as they try to get up, or having a team mate use pull in conjunction with me using warp to create a huge burst effect....

Killing a Big Daddy/Sister In Bioshock 2 in hard.............with a drill and plasmids only.

Or finishing a round in Nazi Zombie's in C.O.D. W.A.W that is over 18, you feel like you could take on another 4 rounds by yourself.....................which you might since all your teamates might onoly have pistols at that point.

Two things do it for me in games.

The first is trick shots. Any one can line up the centre of mass and press a button on a mouse. Being able to do it again and again between your own deaths isn't really that great if you ask me, but then I am one of those 'blasted camping snipers.' Hence, score is not so much a issue for me aside from telling me if I am pulling my weight in a game.

Yet a good trick shot, now those make me feel warm inside. It doesn't even have to be that great, a well placed grenade that flies with a good arch and takes out two or three enemies fortifying a position can do it. Reasoning out how a enemy is moving and putting a few bullets into them through the cover they are cowering behind is nice. Favourite still is lining up a shot at half a click and blowing the gun out of their hands because that was all you could get into your scope... ahhh, fun times.

Trick shots, those make me feel like a good shooter.

The second and even bigger warm feeling generator is team coordination! It is such a rare gift to be handed to you outside of a well greased clan and I have no time for clan play. You don't even have to be the one in command, I doubt people would listen to me so I stay quiet, when that plan all falls into place and you slaughter the enemy time and time again... it is a beautiful thing. *Sniffs* sooo, beautiful.

Taking on hoards of enemies at once in any game. Or in any team-based RPG taking out a tough boss after your team has been killed off.

Batman: Arkham asylum: Sneaking past everyone and unleashing a hot can of grade A whoop ass.

Way of the samurai 3: Beating a very tough guy...and having a choice to kill him or not.

I chose not to, why?

Because it's better to see a man dreams crush then to offer him the sweet release of death.

Leading a team to victory in compet play. I'm not sure if it's badassery, or pride, but seeing a squad working together, obliterating a weak attacking team, or shattering the defences of another squad is pretty special.

Civilization.

Unless you lose a city to some raging barbarians. Or that sneaky bastard Gandih, damn you Gandih.

DAMN you.

Edit: I forgot what makes me badass. Well, making your nation badass, of course! Stacking up on tanks, nukes and/or destroyers while all the others around you are stuck with boats made of... wood. Eat lead and DIE ... Gandih!

Taking out a group of enemies while I'm alone and have low health.

Or taking care of someone being bullied.Nothing makes me feel more like a badass other then helping those in need.

Whenever i play Bad company 2 with a bunch of my buddies, we pile into a blackhawk and circle the base raining death on the enemy team. My favorite is to ride on the side as a sniper and to yell into the mic hold position to snipe some threatening rpg guy or dude on a turret. Its even better when i yell "rpg 7 o'clock evade!" and my friend dodges the rpg. makes me fee awesome.

So what makes you guys feel badass when playing video games?

Sprint-knifing killstreaks in MW2.
Shooting you, no offense, I just can't stand knifers. I love shooting them when there at the end of a hall and they have no chance or escape.

A little more on topic. I love beating the odds online, a few days ago I was playing BC2 and ran into a building to heal (I was a medic)and 3 enemies ran in one hid behind a small wall to the left, I shot the middle guy in the head, I turned to right and got a head shot on him, the third guy reappeared so I filled his stomach full of lead, I had about 20 bullets left in my mag so I reloaded but saw something out of the corner of my eye so I switched to my secondary just incase, it turned out to be another enemy so I got another head shot and ran out of the building into the next one, turned around to see one a guy presumably looking for revenge so I throw a grenade and got a double kill.

All happened within a few seconds.

I was made up, then a sniper ruined my streak. Still felt good though.

Was better doing that with an air transport in BF2142 because you could have an engineer dropping motion mines (football sized anti-tank mines that chase enemy vehicles) on, well, enemy vehicles and repairing any damage you took. A support soldier either flying or using one of the guns to kill infantry, air vehicles and FAVs (jeeps) as well as resupplying the engineer. Plus a medic flying/using side gun healing anyone that took damage.

The air transports held seven people (pilot, two door gunners and four passengers) so anytime you found an enemy flag you wanted, you could land, get everyone to jump out, cap the flag, jump back in and take off in about fifteen seconds. The only real opposition you would get would be from enemy gunships but if you had at least two engineers in the back, most of the damage would be repaired in between attacks. Works so well that on one round the engineer I had with me got about a hundred kills with just the two of us in the vehicle.

But anyway back on topic and onto BC2:
1. (Falsely) Being called a hacker last monday.
2. After I was called a hacker the hackusationer and his clanmate left, so my clanmate and I switched teams to even up the sides. The US team were winning with 118 tickets to the Russian teams 58 when I joined the server on the US side. The game ended with the Russians winning by 8 tickets.
3. Being in a 1v2 against two guys from the same clan yesterday and having a Kill/Death of 14/1 when they both gave up and left. Even got a set of dogtags from one of them.
