The prospect of sleep, and the near-complete unawareness that comes with it. Being with somebody you love, and knowing that they feel the same way about you. Being handed one of those fiber-optic LED gizmos while you're hallucinating, and feeling like the best wizard in the world for the next hour or so. Sex. A day spent in the mountains, with a friend and sunshine. Perambulatory conversations on a balmy day. Feeding ducks.

The warm sun, a cool breeze, eating raw cookie dough and falling asleep on the couch. Tender kissing, cuddling, watching a so-bad-it's-good movie with that special someone; quoting each overacted line as they're said. Driving down a city street late at night with the radio cranked up, pulling into a drive thru at 3 AM, and getting that Arby's Melt that you just know is going to taste amazing. The smell of bacon while it's sizzling, that satisfying snap you hear when you break an egg just right, the sight of muffins slowly rising. Sitting at home during a work day doing absolutely nothing. Smiling and laughing just because you're alive.

I enjoy the company of good friends. Because, when shit sucks most, it's those friends by your side that make the worst of times the best of times... and to have your enemies driven before you is also a good start to a day.

I found out about different types of antique firearms yesterday when looking up some stuff on a firearm museum. It was really interesting and made me happy.
What? I'm not psycho for being happy about guns, I just get a little enthusiastic around them...
