When I have a good workout.
When I feel like myself.
When I can make people laugh.
When I'm one step closer to being with her.

Going to my bar
It's probably the easiest way to make me happy since it's only a brief walk away. All of my best mates are there, the pitchers are cheap, and I'm good friends with the bartender.

Just hanging around with my best mates
We're a lot of alcoholics but when we're not getting drunk, we could just be sitting around outside having a talk. Even in dead silence, we're completely comfortable.

Going on a solitary drive
I can listen to whatever music I want, however many times I want. Driving is just one way for me to reduce stress since it gives me time to think.

Man's best friend
Dogs make me happy whether they're mine or not.

Isn't content a state of being rather than an emotion?
... Yes, I suppose it is. Though happiness can be applied as either a transient emotion or a state of being... I sort of took the question the wrong way.

In that case, I'll rephrase: ask me what makes me not sad, and I'll be able to give you a better answer.

Logic. I enjoy when things click, be it a movieplot where I haven't discovered the holes so it seems clean, or an opinion that is delivered crystal clear.

Logic is one of the very few things that gives me that relaxing shot of whatever gland happiness comes from. I only realised it some 2 years ago when I was introduced to the Sherlock Holmes novels. Great stuff that gave me a better understanding of myself.

1. Seeing my girlfriend

I realize some people don't enjoy the dating scene or would prefer to stay single, and that's okay! But just coming home to see her smiling face and receive a warm kiss and a slow "I love you" just always warms my heart.
I can relate to that. Every time we meet up, or I see her between shifts, it's really nice. I feel happy just holding her in my arms. ^_^ Or whatever else we feel like doing (innocent, you pervy bastards!)

I also feel happy talking with friends, especially over a co-op style game. Borderlands with two of my best friends ever was REALLY fun.

And I also feel happy when devouring a bowl of instant noodles with Chopsticks. Don't laugh! Life just seems so simple and easy when you're slurping up noodles, and your only worry is trying to get as much as you can onto those sticks. ^_^

People. Specifically people who share my "screw it" attitude towards modern life. I love my friends, but they take this shit far too seriously sometimes...and it a bums me out.

Guitar. Improv jamming, surprising myself with what I'm doing.

Sport. Not a terribly competitive person, but if you can play with style you're going to have fun.

Films. I get genuinely excited by films, they make me feel young.
