What makes you want to live/die?

I want to live to be 70 or so, have kids, grandkids, and see how my family goes. Who stays, who goes, if I actualy have a family, that sort of stuff. I also wanna see where my life takes me.

Now death on the other hand. I'm afraid to die. Yeah I admitted it, leave me alone. I'm not afraid of dying itself, like if it's painful, yeah, but if it's peaceful then I'll embrace it. I'm scared of what comes next. Is it god? reincarnation? NOTHING? Nothing is what I'm afraid of. I know, I know, "you'll be dead it doesn't matter" But it freaks me out now.

there are a lot of good reasons for me to want to live. And having gone through enough psychiatric treatment to last anyone a lifetime (and enough medication to choke several horses), i'll simply state that while i may want to die sometimes like hell i'm actually going to talk about why.

Only thing keeping me alive right now is the (slim) hope that some sort of breakthrough in medicine/technology/etc. is made that will make the world the place i wish it was (the kind of world where people's IQs aren't measured in two digit numbers)

Die - the ever encroaching combination of islam, communism and politcal correctness that seems to be sweeping the globe. seriously, can someone stop the planet? I want to get off.

The majority of the out every night getting drunk human race make me want to die, I'm ashamed to be seen with them.

What makes me want to live? Babies, my other half doesn't agree with it but I'm aiming for at least 10-12 so I can call our family a clan.

Haha, quite.
Well really, i don't want to die at all, that would be illogical. However, those two upset me so that's the closest i get.
Perhaps the thing that would really make me want to die is torture but i think i'd much rather just be freed in that instance.

Live: Err...games...friends, books, Scrubs, awesome people, beautiful views, philosophy, doing good in school.
Die: Not having enough time to relax for real, writer's block, frustration, a feeling of no self-worth whatsoever, a family issue, STRESS...philosophy, doing horrible in school (like the end of this semester! GAH!)
ugh..this list sucks...then again, this isn't one of my better days. I can't even feel happy it's friday...oh well, i guess it'll come,
