Ah boy there are way too many Gundam's for me to choose but I think I will make do with this one

I would of pick a Gundam from Gundam Seed but I want to be associated with that.

VF-25 Messiah. Quite possibly the sexiest transforming plane mecha that there has ever been. It flies, it hovers, it makes meaty space insect kibble.

I like the mech that Zero uses. I just woke up, so sadly I can't recall the name off the top of my head...

Not Lancelot...not Mordred...hmm...I think it might be the Galahad. The one he pilots with C.C. I don't recall. XD
The Shinkiro, the one with the absolute defence mechanism and the crystal of OMGGUNNALASERBLASTEVERYONE. Technical term. :p The Galahad is the one with Excalibur, belonging to the Knight of One. Also, massive brownie points for liking CG.

As for my decision... Tricky. The Freedom from Seed is one of my all time favourites, ever, but the Strike Freedom is technically better.. I just didn't like Destiny 'cause of that little whiny shit Shin Asuka. Someone on this forum has an animated avatar of Athrun punching his lights out. Repeatedly. Gotta love that one.

But I also -really- love the Guren Mk2, in it's final incarnation at the showdown of season two. With the float wings and it's just a complete BAMF. It even beats the Lancelot, so there.
But the Strike Freedom can go in -space-.
I think I like Guren more.. but SF can go in space. I'll leave it at that.

Yeah the picture pretty much says it all.

Western Mechs are infinitival better, mainly cus they might actually work. Plus i think gundams just look colourful and prissy.

Actually, they've nearly ruined Ghost In The Shell for me. Not because how they look, though their colour is a bit...iffy, but because in the serious and overal cool universe of GITS, having spider-tanks with AI's comparable to 12 year old Japanese schoolgirls is just...stupid.

Ruined it? The think-tanks in Ghost in the Shell (no matter their incarnation) have always acted like that. They're supposed to provide the comic relief.

Awww yeahhh. It's smaller than all those GINORMOUS mechs, but that's why I would use this one in real life: this one won't topple over.

Well yeah that's the problem, I don't want comic relief in a show like that. At least not comic relief like that. I mean, Edward was the comic relief (overal) in Cowboy Bebop, an otherwise relatively serious show, but at least she made sense. The think-tanks just make me "Who the fuck would make military hardware like that?!" Extremely out of place, not to mention that the squeeky voices grind on my ears.

Dragonzord FTW.

Plus, I get a really neat dagger/flute to control it with, so I don't even have to be in it to pilot it. ^_^
I had a toy of the Dragonzord when I was a kid. I broke it and cried for like two days...

OT: Jehuty from ZoE. In my opinion there is no better mech! Yeah, that's shit's in bold so you know I'm serious!

You may want to avoid the GitS manga then. While the Fuchicoma have a relatively small role they mostly come out with smart-arse one-liners. And the major is vastly different, in that she provides a lot of the comic gold.

As long as you're willing to die in order to pilot it, why not?

OT: An XV9 Battlesuit variation of some sort

Best part, they are awesome and practical. If they were impractical, they wouldn't exist.

Elder God Demonbane, summons every alternate version of itself that was, is, will be, never was, never is, and never will be, including a version so big it destroys the universe and continues growing, destroying other 'verses just by brushing against them... 'Cuz infinite brokenness seemed like a good idea at the time.

But that thing doesn't look like it would work. And I'd like to see how it stands up to a weapon powerful enough to destroy a space station.
