I always seem to hold shift for a tad too long, so I often have words with 2 capital latters. Spell checks don't seem to pick it up either, so it's quite an embuggerance.

I usually misspell things since I type pretty fast and I sometimes hit the wrong key and don't catch it or if I'm on my phone my fucking auto correct always edits correctly spelled words to completely different words for some reason.

I have issues with words that have some form of "ie" in them.

That dumbfuck teaching I got of "I before E except after C" is wrong like 60% of the time. Isn't that wEIrd?

I frequently forget to capitalize 'I' when it is alone.I also tap the space-bar a TEENSY bit too early.(s o m y sentan ces look l ike t his)Though it happens extremely rarely.Usually happens after an air-soft game where some sod unloads a full magazine into my hand.
Also, writing 'a lot' as a full word(alot) or cocking up completely(alit/aliut)is a proplem I face.

Haha, is that not the Modest mouse song?? In which case that should read *border, not Bolder. I wouldn't normally correct someone's English if that is the case, just ironic considering the thread.

OT: I speel short words badly a lot, things like teh or hte instead of 'the'. I also mess up double letters, either by putting one too many, or one too few :p

I tend to be rather thorough in my spelling and grammar checks, so the finished article is (usually) fairly error free.
But I constantly make mistakes whilst typing. The most unusual one I've noticed is that I frequently get 's' and 'c' mixed up.

[sub][sub]I really hope I haven't made an error here. The irony if that's the case.[/sub][/sub]
"Hurr durr you ended with a preposition you noob."

OT: I've "recently" changed keyboard and I'm still messing up by hitting the letters to the right of the one I meant to hit, though only on the right side of the keyboard. E.g. play turns into åøay (using "Norwegian" keyboard).
I also write too fast, and if I mess up a word I usually have to try like 4 times to make it right.

I was never clear on where the period goes when quoting things. That is to say, I was never sure whether the period goes inside or outside the quotation marks. People have given me shit for both so I just sorta pick one randomly whenever I need to.

Double letters, for example appropriate, disappear and disappointment I'll put the double letter in the wrong place. Google chrome being a massive dick and not giving me the right correction has helped me lots. Stupid browser being chaotic good...

I sometimes unconsciously switch "a" for "e" and vice versa. And I tend to write the same way I talk, but then again, almost all of us do that.

The main one that comes to mind is mis-typing the word 'chemistry'... and as a chemistry graduate, it's a tad bizarre... always comes out 'chemsitry' first time round.

And I get the holding-shift-a-tad-too-long thing as well...

Usually, I misspell some words as I'm typing. And I don't realize what I did wrong until right after I hit the post button. Thank goodness for the edit button.

My biggest typing error is always "your". 9 out of 10 times I spell it "yoru". I guess I just forget the "u" goes before the "r".

Other times, I either spell entire words backwards or combine two words as I type.

Is it "border"? That might make more sense. But yeah Fire It Up by Modest Mouse.

I'm a touch-typist so I make a lot of mistakes sometimes, especially when I'm resting and typing with my eyes closed.
And of course, when I'm not thinking properly about what I'm typing I can mess up "your" and "you're" and stuff like that.

When I type words with two of the same letter in a row, especially two Ls, I tend to type the wrong letter twice. For instance, "spelling" becomes "speeling" or speliing".

"Teh"

Also occationaly my mind wanders while typing, resulting in a word that doesnt fit in at all in a sentence.

And then theres forgetting what Ive already written and write it again - like "I suppose that would work I suppose."
