The part after Gaia convinces Kratos to keep fighting on and defeat the Kraken in God of War II. After that momemnt, whenever I encountered a large group of enemies (such as those just before the final fight with the last living Fate) I lost all focus of the world around me as I tore into the foes I encountered with an intense rage that left me drained but very gratified after I finished the game.

Playing Civ 4 about 5 years ago. Chinese leader TOOK MY DIAMOND MINE!

I hunted that bastard for all 100 turns. He had 1 city surrounded by Greece by the end of the game (I nuked it on turn 100).

This happened to me and 2 friends recently while playing Bad Company 2. The opposite team was one big clan, and they had 4 guys more then we did, so we asked them to even out the odds a little, because our team had massive problems defending in rush mode.

They said no. The reason? My friend was lvl 30, so we should have no problem. For your information, you need only like 6 levels to max out a class in that game, and all in their clan was around lvl 8 or so. Not that levels really matter in that game, being killed by an AK47 is as easy as being killed by an M16.

Anyways, we basically went into Gandalf mode, saying "YOU WILL NOT PASS!!!". After the most hectic 15 minutes I've had in an FPS, defending a house with increasing number of destroyed walls in it, we won.

And then the whole clan left, being beaten by just 3 pissed off guys with 8 years of teamwork behind them, and one of the worst teams I've ever played with.

It was some kind of flow-inducing cold rage, it just made us focus more. And by the gods, did we mock them when they, just before all of them had left and their team was about 4 guys less then us, asked us to even the odds...

I rage-quit Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time when Bongo-Bongo (the boss who beats the drum you are standing on) mashed my toe and I died... (It freezes the game and does a slow motion death, and you could CLEARLY SEE massive hand on foot...)

That's when I learned to always have fairies.

As for the good kind...

Almost every time I start to loose at guitar hero, I pull a "THIS GAME WILL NOT BEAT ME!" and somehow manage to finish the song...

Oh, and the first time I played through the Mass Effect 2 ending. (MASSIVE RUSH!!!)

Only good rage I've ever felt while playing a game was with Demon's Souls. Every time I died, I got little more pissed, and a little more determined to add meaning to the victory dance I did on the boss demon's corpse.

Nothing gets me an adrenaline rush better than good EVE Online fleet battles. The sight of hundreds of hostile ships warping in, hearing the FC barking primaries and secondaries on TeamSpeak, mowing down one battleship after another knowing that you might join them in 30 seconds. It's very tense and leaves you shaking from the rush, but the trance of happiness after a successful massacre makes everything worth it :)

Other than that, good boss fights and tense shooting galleries sometimes get the blood pumping. For example, Gears of War ( God, I love that train section ), Assassins Creed to some extent, Need for Speed ( being so concentrated you only see the track and curves, the outside world doesn't exist ) and some others I can't really think of right now.

Dragon Age. City elf female and Human Noble.

I kicked Howe in the nuts before he died. Also Vaughan. And his three friends.

And I stripped their corpses, even if I didn't want what they had.

ETA: God, how could I forget Anora? Screw you, you backstabbing *****. The moment where I get to say that TO HER FACE before crowning Alistair, though? OMG. <3 Schadenfreude.

I'd have to say it was the Great Gate part of Oblivion, as soon as I realized I had limited time I put my sword away and ran not even stopping to fight once! I reached the tower to see 0 Minutes left in the corner this is when I get the rage, I could not let Bruma get destroyed! I took every shortcut I could while rushing to the top once I grabbed the Sigil Stone I cheered for a bit as I teleported back to Tamriel.

When I was playing fallout 3, the first time you fight a behemoth. I had to use all my ammo and broke almost all my weapons and gear, it took me almost an hour, but I did it!

The victory was short-lived when I found out I was supposed to just pick up the fatman.
