Fallout 3. Yes the speech system and the NPCs were better the Oblivion, but when compared to the first 2 Fallouts the story line sucks the NPCs are very flat and the character customization is minimal. Not to mention that the difficulty curve was non-existent and the Fallout 3 karma system was unbalanced, you get so much good karma from not blowing up Megaton that you can stalk, murder and dismember nearly everyone in town and still be the savior of the wastes.

Ugh, I hate the Monty Python garbage that the rest of the world seems to love. Even people that seem to like the same types of humor that I do will like the MP movies, but not me, no sir, not one bit.

Well in my groups of friends here is a short list of things I hate that they all seem to like:

Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Maybe because I have an IQ above 5.

Napoleon Dynamite - WTF was this movie about and why do I care? I can't go to Sonic anymore because when I order some damn tater-tots, one of these idiots without fail will say "Gimme your tots!" in that annoying voice.

Morrowind - After playing it for 30 hours or so and finding out you can beat the game in 10 minutes, I felt cheated. All because someone couldn't code some logic in the game to prevent that crap.

My definition of stoner comedy is a movie that tries to be funny with pant's on head retarded, socially retarded, and retarded and still think they're cool and/or smart characters that could very well be on drugs. You cock muncher.
That may be your definition, but that is not the definition of stoner comedy. Look anywhere online and you will find that, you sir are horribly incorrect. The name calling bit at the end was a little uncalled for as well. Don't quite understand the hostility, but I guess when people do not have an intelligent response they normal regress to name calling. No me though, I still have plenty of points left to make.

In fact, here is a great article I found online that goes into detail about the stoner film: http://www.slate.com/id/2168931/pagenum/all/#page_start

If you like many people do not wish to click links (totally understandable) here is how the first paragraph ends, "the proper stoner movie is by, for, and about pot smokers. These are not movies where a lone joint is passed around in a party scene. Instead, the stoner film shows serious commitment to smoking and acquiring marijuana as a lifestyle choice." Pretty much the complete opposite of your nonsense definition.

I could go on, but I feel as if I proved my point. Napoleon Dynamite and Super Bad are neither of these as you can probably tell by now.
Just because that the meaning doesn't mean I can't use the words for something else. Besides how do you know I'm wrong and everyone else is right? And I don't mean more people accepting that as a fact, I mean actually wrong or actually right.
Basic logic dictates that you are wrong. There are two words in your definition, one being stoner, the other being movie. Yes, they are movies so you are correct there, but they have nothing to do with stoners. Therefore only half of the phrase that you used to describe those movies is correct and 50% is still a failure. By your logic I can classify Halloween as a romantic movie just because I feel like it. That does not make sense. The stoner film is an actual classification of a genre of film. Meaning that it has a set definition, anything that does not adhere to that definition does not fit into that genre.

Plus, if you wish to have an intelligent debate with someone, please check your grammar before hitting the post button. I had to read your previous post a few times to actually understand what you were trying to say.

My argument is that just because you choose to blindly follow the English language to the letter, no pun intended, doesn't mean other people have to also. I choose to abuse the language in such a way that certain words don't always mean what other people say it means. In layman's terms it means I change words meanings and don't give a flying fuck what you think about it. Also to put my feeling as a whole towards this debate, and you may recognize this quote, "I reject your reality and substitute my own."

Basically you have decided to agree with me, and I find that to be very noble of you. I am glad that you have decided to present that basic logic does not hold any meaning in your world. You are wrong and you have admitted this by stating that you do not follow the standard rules of the English language. I realized that through reading what you have written to me throughout the tenure of our conversation, I am just glad that you have decided to admit to so much. By stating that you do not follow the standard conventions of the English language and you create all of the meaning in your world, you have completely validated the argument that I have been making with you since the beginning. Thank you very much. Cheers!

I'm not sure that I see the connection between you stating the rules, me replying that I don't follow the rules, and you deriving that I agree with you.
In my point of view it's quite the opposite.

In fact I think this whole argument is all rather pointless.

I stated the rules and you said that you didn't follow them. Now, just because you don't care to follow them, does not mean that you did not actually break them. You did, you just don't care. That is your position and it is fine. You still broke them, I am still right that rules were broken, and you still do not care. Fine by me.

This conversation has complete bored me.

Films - Watchmen, Transformers, Leon: The Professional (i've argued on IMDB about this), A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Minority Report, Bourne Series.
Games - Gears of War. Chronicles of Riddick (either), Team Fortress 2, FEAR, Painkiller.

Team Fortress 2 - I thought it was really boring, repetitive, and had a bad aiming system.

Call of Duty 4 - I think the maps suck, and gameplay is really unbalanced (M16, P90, etc.)

Rap Music - I really don't get what is so appealing about bitches and hoes.

Bioshock - I am currently trying to play it through and it is really boring. The enemies aren't very much fun and there is minimal instruction past dialogue. Don't get me wrong, the story is a good one, but it doesn't make up for boring gameplay. Could somebody who is knowledgeable about the game tell me how to switch plasmids (past the two mapped) and if the game gets less boring soon after Dr. Steinman? To me, there are better rpgs on the marketplace that I would rather play (Penny Arcade Adventures).

Half-Life 2 -

Anything popular probally, the main population is idiots and doesn't know anything good so its likely that anything they like is crap, But i'll tell you someone i love you everyone hates! Bernie Madolf. I swear anyone who can make that many people unhappy warms my cold unbeating heart :)

they were funny a couple times, it didn't need sequals, and the remakes are worse. And the guy who made them looks like Y-bot from screwattack.... i hate that guy

Also i loved Half-life 2... but the game made me motion sick, someday i'll get a bucket and some anti-nausea pills and play through it!
You hit the nail right on the head there.

Scarface - Just really, REALLY boring.

Mall Cop - The only funny parts were with the Indian dude. It really didn't deliver what it was advertising.

Twilight. The books were trite and downright creepy when you look at some of them properly, and the film caused me to lose a few brain cells.

The author of Twilight too. She so badly wants to be JK Rowling it's hilariously pathetic. She even wanted the fourth Twilight book to be made into two films because she thought it was too long for one. I must have read the synopsis of a different shitty book then, because in Breaking Dawn ... NOTHING HAPPENS.
Everyone hates twilight. Please re-read the title of this forum.
You'd be surprised.

Just reread the furom then. Most people list Twilight and it is annoying. Sorry if this comes off harsh since I have had a bad day (the city is cutting down my front yard tree since it grew to close to the street)

Call of Duty 4. Decent campaign, god-awful mutliplayer. Can't understand it's popularity, besides it being easy as it comes, giving major e-peen gratification among idiots.

Anything to do with Twilight.

MGS4. It was good, but nothing as good as the first, or even the second MGS game.

PS1/PS2/PS3 controllers.

Macbooks.

I know it's a few years late, but I still despise Napoleon Dynamite with a fiery passion. I had to sit and watch every person in my high school where those fucking annoying Vote for Pedro shirts every God damn day.

music - rap
movies - too many to bother listing
games - bioshock, both fables, and oblivion
