My personal choices are A Clockwork Orange themed game, Flash Gordon, and Dumb and Dumber The game (Which i would like to call Dumb and Dumber: When Dumb gets nasty.)Oh! And Team America.

I second a Clockwork Orange game. It'd be like The Warriors but alot more violent with hopefully a better plot. An Equalibrium game would be pretty sweet too.

Most movie games suck, with very few exceptions. With that in mind, I believe that if done correctly, Shoot 'em Up would be a mindless shooting extravaganza.

a flash gordon game would be kinda cool

also A Clockwork Orange was originally a book that was made into a movie and it would make a horrible game as the whole point of it would be missed, the movie is not about a lot of the old ultra-violence

I think a Kill Bill game would be cool, especially the huge fight scene in volume one. They could add in backstory too, about the Bride's time as an assassin.

Mario the Movie. It would make an awesome platformer.

If there was a Twilight game which made fun of the series(and where the last level you play as Dracula in the real world and go show the author what a real vampire is like), I would buy it.

Oh, and a game based on all 6 Rocky movies.

I was going to say none of them but that one might work. I'm still leaning towards none though.

I understand your point with missing alot of the points the book made but I still think it would make a fun, albeit dark, video game. I mean, what's not cool about Droogs?

There is one. Not too shabby, for a boxing game.

Also, although I usually have a hate against movie-games, it seems developers are doing them pretty well recently, so id like a game of...Dunno really :p Im just gonna say I,robot to be funny.

Hmm... Children of Men would be a very interesting game. If they managed to capture the feel of the movie, I'd find a new favourite game.

Also, I'd imagine The Exorcist and Alien would be fun.

They really only depend on intelligent direction and decision-making.

Here's an interesting idea: none of them.

Movie games are almost invariably simple attempts to cash in on the success of the film. They are usually poorly executed and rushed to launch to coincide with the release of the film, resulting in an overall sub-par product. For every good game based on a film you can name, there are going to be at least ten bad ones.

More importantly, the gaming industry desperately needs new IPs right now, and basing games on films isn't going to help. Almost every upcoming release that actually has people interested is a sequel, because developers know that they will sell, and aren't prepared to take a chance with new IPs. Case in point: Activision dropping Brutal Legend because it didn't have sequel potential. Making games based on films isn't going to help this mindset; it'll just reinforce it. People will become convinced that the only way to make a successful game is to base it on an already successful franchise.

As long as companies have this sort of mindset, where they'd rather milk existing franchises for everything they have than release a new game (I'm looking at you, Blizzard), the industry isn't going to go anywhere. So no, we don't need any games based on films. We need more original games.

I feel like none of these would work. No offense...it's just my opinion.

Ok, I think we can all agree that if these games ever were made, we would want them to be well done. That being said, my fantasy would be a game based on "Firefly" or "Serenity", perhaps done KOTOR style, building a character from scratch within the established 'verse, and heading out on an adventure. I just think that'd be pretty cool.

I would like a proper Star Trek game, which isn't about captaining a ship but more RPGish, think Mass Effect set in the Star Trek universe. And an adult Star Wars game, like if you hit someone with a lightsaber their limbs fall off and you can pull people apart with the force.
