I thought I'd create a thread for all the musicians on the Escapist. As the title explains, I'm just curious about what instrument you play (make, model etc.)

Feel free to post links or pics.

(I did search to see if this had been done, but couldn't find anything. Don't hate me if it has!)

EDIT: Thought I'd post links to what I have:

Squier P-Bass: 3 years old, gigged all the time and has never gone wrong.
Dean ZBX Bass: Bought 2 years ago and gigged every couple of months.

I also have a Line6 Low Down 150 watt bassamp that I use with these.

I own a beautiful acoustic guitar.
On another note, and this is to everyone, if someone creates a thread without text, chances are they just hit enter early, stop posting only to tell them they need text in the OP.

Everyone should own a chiptracker. [http://www.milkytracker.net/]
Other than that, a recorder...
I wish I had never given up on the Cello...

An Art and Lutherie acoustic, a PRS electric (both guitars), and an upright piano. I plan on taking up jazz flute in the near future.

I own a set of drums and a piano. Although, I haven't touched my piano in a while. It's mostly for decoration now. The drums still get use when I have time.

i play bass for my band (i have an esp ltd b55, for evryone out there it means its got 5 strings its huge and metally, also shiny and deepish red), and decided that i should shut my guitarist up and prove i can learn to play a 6 string, im doing ok with that, and recently got a yamaha pacifica in gloss black with two emg humbucca pickups, the sustain just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and i love it

Another week, another musician thread.

Anyway.

I have a Five sring Fender Jazz 24 V
It's a pretty great bass, I can switch from top end attack to low end smooth with the flick of a switch and the turn of two knobs, I don't even touch my amp most of the time. The neck is quite wide but its a 5-string so thats pretty normal. The pure variety of tone is what makes this bass so great, example, I've done metal gigs, Rock and Roll gigs, disco gigs and funk gigs and the tone has allways suited.

I also have an un-named acoustic bass and a samick somthing-or-rather which was my first bass.

I owned an Eppiphone Thunderbird IV but quickly grew out of it. There is nothing good about that bass, it was way to heavy so there is massive neck dive (which puts weight on your left hand, making it harder to move), you can't play past the 14 fret because of the stupid reverse body design and it sounds like a thick blanket being hit with a baseball bat wrapped in damp newspaper.
