Getting my 360 this afternoon. So far, I've listed Bioshock, Dead Rising, Left4Dead, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, Mass Effect and Fallout 3 as must-haves. Help a 360 noob out. What am I missing?

Borderlands and Batman: AA.
Both great games and massively replayable. Maybe Halo: ODST too.

If you canstand JRPGs get Lost Odessey.

I also *loved* Condemned, cut scene graphics are a bit dated but combat and atmosphere are great, and I recently picked up a copy for $20, so check it out. Have no idea about the sequel though, never played it.

Also, idk what platform you've come from, but if you weren't from the PC check out Orange Box, 5 games in one. :D

I'm coming from Wii and a shared PC. I mostly bought the Wii for the virtual console and Wii Sports with friends after polishing half a bottle of Beefeater. I couldn't take not being able to play or being interrupted when someone needed the computer, so I'm grabbing a 360.

Then Orange Box to that list for sure, it should be super cheap now.

Also if you have other friends who have xboxs and gold membership then I suggest Left 4 Dead (Or 2 I guess, since thats out very soon, but I don't have gold membership or money so I dont pay attention as much as I used too)

I also like Viva Pinata, if you're into sims

Id leave out LFD and assasins creed if i were you.. wait for sequels.. LFD because i doubt anyone will play the original online once the sequel comes out.. and assasins creed because it was too flawed.. I wouldnt worry about anymore for the time being if i were you, that little bunch will keep you fairly busy ;)

oh: download trials HD :D

Condemned was an awesome game. I'd would also recommend Prey, Ghost Recon AWF, Oblivion and Morrowind from the original Xbox.

So L4D just because no one will be playing when L4D2 comes out, but is the single player L4D any good? I'm not going to have a multiplayer hookup until next week probably.

Err, the L4D single player is the Multiplayer without intelligent teammates, just the computer controlled AI. While they can shoot at least, the AI does stupid things occasionally. And by occasionally I mean a lot.

I'd add Resident Evil 5 to that list and if you like JRPGS add Tales of Vesperia as well. Star Ocean: The Last Hope is probably also good considering who it's from, but I've never played it so I can't give a recommendation based on just Square Enix. After all, Nintendo gave us Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon after a bunch of awesome Fire Emblem games.

Nothing better than picking up a bus and throwing it at those pesky criminals.
Saints Row 2
This is just me it isn't a must play but damn it is fun as hell.
Edit: Oh shit I almost forgot, Oblivion, and if you don't get it you're criminal scum!
