(Or you can read this: Basically, the Angelus is a counterpart power to the Darkness. Instead of turning its male wielder into a pimped-out force of evil and chaos, it turns its female wielder into a psychotic and evil bitchmobile with bikini armor and glowy bits. Completing the trinity is the Witchblade, a weird gauntlet-like weapon that chooses only females and acts as the force of neutrality between the Darkness and the Angelus by, you guessed it, attempting to do them both in.)
