What new unit would you like to see in DoW?

Actually there could be a way to implement Titan. Remember the last mission on WA that requires you to power up the Titan? Now how about if both sides had their scrapped Titan and fought over Power Deposits in order to get it up and running.Once the Titan is up and running the other side will either
a) end up as a smoking crater
b) Fight a VERY SUPER UBER nerfed version of a Titan. Something like 50K health and 5K damage. It could be soloed providing that the other side was dumb enough not to give the titan any support.

It would pretty much give DoW a nice strategic feel as most games are usually 3vs3 DM's

I'd love to see more daemons. The four powers are underrepresented.
Daemons would be sweet. I hate how horrors are the only daemons you can summon. Bloodletters would be sweet; basically close-combat obliterators. Plaguebearers would cause havoc in an enemy base, even after the defending player managed to fend off the attack. Slaneeshi Daemonettes would be difficult to include, due to their tendencies to run about the battlefield like multi-breasted, bloodthirsty sorority girls on spring break (parents and other uptight people tend to not like nudity). But most importantly, I want to see my little swarms of adorable nurglings running about, causing mayhem and such (yes, I am slightly messed in the head :p).

I want a pet Nurgling!!!

Squiqs. Need I say more? GIVE ME SQUIQ HORDES DAMN YOU!

Umm... *thinks* yeah, I'm pretty sure squiqs are in both fantasy and 40K :p
Ahhhh, a person after my own heart. I'd love to see the little gribblies in the game. The only way I think they could do it is if they added bomb squigs. The new Tankbusta units (in the tabletop game) can take them as an upgrade, so I can see something like a saboteur unit of them...look at it like this; Bouncy Bouncy Bouncy BOOM!!!

Would my pet Nurgling be unhappy if I got a pet Squig too? They're both just so damn awesome!

I think they may not agree with each other, really. You could just pretend they're play-fighting and ignore the blood :p

I dunno, I think they might work. I mean, consider the size of Imperial guard squads, that many squiqs could be workable per squad. I just love the idea of a squiq horde wriggling towards a spacemarine squad at hugh speed while Flash gitz open fire across them. I'm not sure how much pracitcal use they'd be though, apart from cannon fodder. Maybe if it was a type of subterrainian squiq (they do come in pretty much any shape and size you want) and you could deploy em like deep striking, but from beneath. That would be cool.

I'm off to daydream about that now.

Plus, on the current engine, a titna would only appear as two feet. You'd need a Supreme Commander type interface to use one properly.
I wonder if anyone's done a Strategic-scale DoW mod for Supreme Commander - or a TC for that matter. The engine could certainly support Tyranids and IG numbers, as well as the sheer scale needed to wield everything from simple squads to Baneblades and Titans. Plus it'd look absolutely cool - that much is for sure.

I like it...an Epic-scale version of Dawn of War. It'd be sweet. The only thing I could see as maybe a problem with it is that it would almost have to become simply warfare, and less skirmish-style.
