What offends me the most is people who think that them being offended by something warrants the censorship of whatever they're offended by. And I'm not saying that to be funny, it really does piss me off.
Nope [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normality_%28behavior%29].CulixCupric said:"normal" isn't even real, only a mere illusion.Scarim Coral said:Pretty much when my family question my social life in that in their view it's not "normal".
I don't give a danm that I'm anti social since I perfectly fine the way I am and no one can tell me how to run my life other than me.
It doesn't annoy me in the slightest, after all, nobody can know everything, and ignorance can easily be remedied, provided there's a will.MassiveGeek said:Ignorance.
Well, if you've read the rest of my post you would've noticed it doesn't offend me either, just piss me off.Vegosiux said:It doesn't annoy me in the slightest, after all, nobody can know everything, and ignorance can easily be remedied, provided there's a will.MassiveGeek said:Ignorance.
Stupidity, on the other hand...
I did read the rest of your post, and I did use the word "annoy" and not "offend"MassiveGeek said:Well, if you've read the rest of my post you would've noticed it doesn't offend me either, just piss me off.
When I say ignorance I'm talking willfull ignorance, people who refuse to listen to reason and then spur a load of fucking crap instead, then demand special treatment because they get butthurt if anyone attempts to correct their stupid arses.
I feel the same way, bro. Hell, I'm friends with a willfully ignorant (albeit mildly so) person. We get along just fine, but sometimes his stubbornness just gets the better of him.OriginalLadders said:Willful ignorance. And that reminded me that I need to stop taking my glasses off at home. >_>Vegosiux said:I did read the rest of your post, and I did use the word "annoy" and not "offend"MassiveGeek said:Well, if you've read the rest of my post you would've noticed it doesn't offend me either, just piss me off.

But yeah I see your point. Insisting on ignorance is surely something that makes me go *eyeroll*
Haha, that was pretty funny.CulixCupric said:even though i spawned this topic, i do agree. look at this:jawakiller said:Wow... O.O
I thought I was alone.
I also hate people who try to be really politically correct and bend over backwards to accommodate people. I'm like, get a life and grow a pair.
Other than that, hippies. They bother me with their pot-smoking ways.![]()

That's not the definition of the term 'racism'. People that usually hates racism hates the negative effects it can have. You might be thinking prejudice, which is something we are all guilty of, good or bad (and can also have negative effects).Arsen said:People that claim to hate racism and act as if they are guilt free of the term. It's a subjective, overly opinionated, perspective filled term. I know plenty of people who are "racist" that in truth hate no one. They just can't stand the quirks and minor annoyances expressed by certain groups. We're all guilty of them.
This, a thousand times, this. People wanna complain about political correctness, never realizing that they just might be polite. It's like the sole reason they hate PO is to be a jerk without consequence.Phasmal said:People who assume I am a slave to political correctness when I'm just trying to be polite, instead of loudly defending my right to be a jerk.
Also, sexism in the gaming community. Gets me down when I can't even mention my gender (in context; not just randomly) without getting sworn at.
That's exactly what I am saying: Everyone has their own definition as to what racism "is" in their minds. It doesn't matter who defines it, what categorizes it, etc. It has no definition set in stone.simple64 said:That's not the definition of the term 'racism'.
