What old video games would you like to see redone?

Legend of Zelda:Links Awakening.


I absolutely LOVE the Original but, id really like to see it redone in the same style or in the 3rd Person Styles of the Newer console Zeldas.

I always felt that Mach Rider has potential to be a great current-gen game, but will it compete with the new Tron game's lightcycle parts?

Id say a bit more so.
With it being in Links mind/or not makes you wonder what everything could be based off of in his world.
And the final boss was just sad.
And i would also give anything to hear a Professional Orchestral Version of Ballad of the Wind fish.
That song still makes me tear up.

Anyone remember a game called "Nomad"?

An alien ship crash lands on Earth and is mysteriously repaired. They strap you in and bung you into the galaxy. There are several races; individuals of which remember you, how they feel about you and react accordingly. You could trade, explore, do missions and rid the galaxy of an evil robot menace whilst all the while thinking about the Phelonese - a race of feline anthropomorphs with rather impressive norks!

I bought this game for £3.99 brand new back when EB still existed in the UK and I had to piddle around with my config.sys file to free up EMS memory for the sound to work!

A brilliant concept and much loved...the ship to ship combat sucked balls though! I'd love to see this remade with better graphics, better sound and the guy who did Lara Croft to be "Chief Phelonese boob consultant"!

Very few games I think should be remade, perhaps a couple of Final Fantasy games could do with it but mostly no.

I would definitely like to see the Legacy of Kain games given updated graphics and brought forward in time, no change to anything except better graphics though, i'd hate to see it become anything other than what it is, everyone should play a LoK game at least once in their lives.

Your reason could be based on graphics, better writing, or even changing of genre. For me personally, I would like to see Freedom Fighters for the cube redone. I loved the concept and all it needed was better graphics.

I'd love to see a re-make of The Chaos Engine [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chaos_Engine].


I'd like it to be a 3rd person duo shooter (like Army of Two or Kane & Lynch), but with RPG and adventure elements (perhaps like Fable) which allow you to explore it's Steam Punk visage of a warped Victorian England and delve deeply into the character's backgrounds (like the prologues in Dragon Age Origins).

It's a great premise for a rich and detailed world to explore, especially if it started out relatively normal and the Chaos was introduced slowly throughout the game.
