what (or who) would win in a fight

I watched both those episodes, they were great.

Fight:
1) A (Clever) Piranha and a Blue Whale.
Or:
2) Three mice and a rat.
Or:
3) A man with a gun and a 7 Eagles that like flesh.
Or:
4) A Silverback gorrila and a Wooly Mammoth.

Actually, what would beat a Silverback gorilla? Answer that!
I think I read a few years back that a zoo had to get some hunters in to trap an escaped Silverback, they later found out it had escaped by ripping the bars apart. (Not sure if it was real though)

Answer them all if you dare!

1) considering the blue whale is a large but placid animal my bet would be the piranha who would bite it to draw blood, which would then attract his pirhana buddies and within a few ours the whale will be stripped of its flesh

2) id have to go 3 mice, despite the fact that mice are about one 3rd the size of a rat. its still 3 on 1

3) eagles, the guy would have to be a very good shot to take down 7 eagles before they could attack him with their razor sharp tallons

4) mammoth, again its probably a strength thing

Which is why I was wondering it, actually.
When you think about it, the Silverback is incredibly strong, acrobatic, and clever. It'd be perfectly possible for him to swing up on top of the mammoth and smash its head in with a giant rock. (Tool using)

i was watching a program we have in the UK called "QI" its basically a factual, comedy quiz show which asks comedians questions but the answer isnt always what they expect

basically one of the questions was what would win: a bear or a lion, they done some research which proved the bear would certainly almost win because a lion has a fragile skull and the crushing power of a bear paw is enough to crush its skull.

they also proved that Muhammad ali would demolish bruce lee in a fight (both in thier prime obviously)

so i thought id have a little fun with the escapists, post a fight you would like to see and we will try to figure out what (or who) would win based on the facts available

disclaimer: please dont post chuck norris because its so old now and hed probably get his ass handed to him by Ali, tyson or "rampage" jackson

Chuck Norris on a whale vs Kanye West on a horse.

Well seeing as Kanye has no idea how to fight, I say Chuck Norris. And besides, the Whale would be dead without water, same with the horse in water. But if it were on land, even with a horse (Which Kanye may not know how to ride) I still feel Chuck would take the cake.

The thing is, they're not really 'proving' anything with that evidence. I mean, yes, a bear could crush the skull of a lion, but a lion's primary attack is to bite down on the neck in order to crush the throat, I don't think the bear could crush its skull if the lion got a good enough hold. This is why I really don't like about shows like Deadliest Warrior, they just assume that because a weapon can hit harder it's clearly better.

Anyway, Michael Ironsides vs. Edward James Olmos. Most epic boxing match ever, especially if they were allowed to egg each other on. Who doesn't want to see the voice of Sam Fisher fight Admiral Adama?

they didnt have to prove it it was based on evidence from american freak shows or something where they would pit a bear against a lion the bear always won since the lion couldnt get a grip on its throat

Once again, 'american freak shows or something' isn't a decent source, they can claim that a bear can win but they can't prove it. True, in the 19th century people did pit bears against lions, but two malnourished animals fighting makes strength a bonus. Not to mention the various species of bear have completely different physical abilities. A Kodiak bear would probably win, but what about a brown or black bear? I'm just saying don't believe this stuff at face value, most of these guys have no idea what they're talking about.
