What OTHER games are you getting this month?

So, as we all know, there are, suffice to say, many games being released this November, and as such, many games being bought this November.

But who here is boycotting this influx of titles? Who is man enough to stand up to the system and buy a game NOT desperately competing with others of a similar release date?

And, of course, the quintessential body of the thread:
Why are you doing this? Are you doing this? Do you wish to flaunt your extra cash, or do you simply want something not fresh off the devs' table?

Myself, I just picked up Fable III, although, of course, I have succumbed to the lure of Bethesda's newest beast...

So, Escapist, humour me!

BF3 already gotten, so that's one down.

Not boycotting Skyrim per se, but I refuse to buy it until I'm absolutely sure it'll be playable, so probably saving the purchase until the first major patch comes out.

Arkham City I can't touch at all unfortunately because of Games for Windows: Live.

So yeah, unless the Skyrim patch comes out November no more purchases.

Oh, Other games as in non-majors

Oh, just got what "Other" meant. Eye Divine Cybermancy and Payday: The Heist were my more indie games of this month.

Games that I want that are already out I already own. Games that are coming out that I want I've pre-ordered.

I was thinking about buying a new razor 360 pad this month, does that count?

I found Star Ocean: The Last Hope the other day for like $6, which is about my price range right now. You guys think the wait for 11/11/11 is hard? I have to wait until a month later, for that and Zelda...

Just need Modern Warfare 3 (later today when stores open back up) and Skyrim this Friday, then I can FINALLY lean back and breathe a sigh of relief. No more games until Mass Effect 3. At least, I don't think there are any more...

Someone get me a game calendar.

Hm, well, I preordered Skyward Sword, Arkham City is sitting in my STEAM's game list like a fucking asshole, taunting me til the 15th, I beat Uncharted 3 just the other day, and I'm working to get Skyrim on STEAM as soon as possible. Other than that, GTAV and CS:GO are the only games I can see me getting down the road. Boycotting MW3 because. . . well, need I explain? Also not touching BF3 because I have a kinda shitty PC, and I'm pretty much done with FPS games altogether; that and, if I'm gonna try and play a realistic shooter, I'll play Arma II, it's waaaay more realistic.

really?

I'm questioning whether or not to get Assassins Creed till after Christmas, because I'll have covered all the bases with Skyrim, UMvC3 and Saints Row. How is buying some preowned game I didn't want when it was new a good idea?

I think i am getting ACR though... it might just sit in the plastic for a little while... though I will probably take a break from Skyrim before the others come out... hmm...
it's all too much for me, all this future fun is making me really bored of Sonic Generations :/

Yeah, I bet you did. I'll bet it's the most sophisticated feat of word-smithery and heart-string tugging since Shakespeare himself.
did you enjoy your 6 hours of shooting an assault rifle at a guy?
