What part of gaming would you like in real life?

Ooh... Probably save/reload, as long as I keep all memories as I go back. I'd set up a save now and live my life then come back. It'd basically be a wormhole, except tied to my current bedroom.
If I don't keep memories when I reload, cheats- god mode. I would be hesitant to use it, though, because I'm not sure I want to live through Heat Death/Big Freeze/Ragnarok/whatever-you-believe.

I sometimes wonder when I put the controller down and make a trip to the lav, is my character taking a squat behind the pause menu.

A couple of people have said 3rd person view that would be awesome, although very disorienting trying to figure out how to move the "camera".
Stats would be awesome. No gym for me just put a couple of points into strength. if someone calls you an idiot chuck a bunch into intelligence and outsmart them.
Also a persuade function so that anyone would automatically agree with you no matter what you said.
Quick Save/Quick Load or having multiple saves that you can revisit.
Modding tools.
Console Commands. If you want really need explanation watch episode 2 of Doomsday Arcade.
Bullet Time would make things fun
My favourite would be having a second character you can play when you get bored.
