Most of my PC games are because I can't download games at 12gb each. Besides, I like a collection.

Better to list the games I DON'T have a hard copy of:
Dark Souls: Prepare to die edition. (damn steam flash sale)
Skyrim. (Steam summer sale.)
Torchlight 1/2. (They were only downloadable as far as I know.)
Warhammer 40k: Space marine. (once again, steam sale.)
And the half life / counter strike games since you can barely get them otherwise over here.

I have about 25 physical games I think, not counting expansions and the like. Witcher 1/2, WoW, oblivion, ME 1/2/3, Rocksmith, Guildwars, WC3, NWN2, Unreal 3, Blood Omen 2, Grandia 2, FEAR 1/2 to name some off of the top of my head.

I prefer physical games over digital downloads any day, unless a steam sale makes a game so much cheaper (like 50% off) that it's worth it. I just hate the idea of paying full price for a game, but never actually owning it. With digital purchases you can't sell your game again most of the time. Or put it on another account. And if the company decides to discontinue a game, good luck downloading it again. Or even playing it at all if it uses an online 'activation' each time you play like more and more games seem to be doing these days.

prefer the same however it seems now that most physical copies of anything attached to steam or origin make you use them anyway so you still don't own it really.

You touch on something that always worries me about steam and Digital platforms in general. You have all these folks chanting steam to hell for its "evils" and hoping for it to fail, yet if it did die alot of people, myself included, could be out thousands of dollars.

I have most of my pc games as hard copies because i like going to a shop and physically looking through and buying games. it gives me a sense of pleasure and content. also because my internet is too slow to download 10GB games. the only games i download are indie games which are small in size otherwise all AAA games i have on disc

I have played PC exclusively for the past few years, and have always played on a PC before then (it was my first platform for gaming and, as seen today, will most likely be my last) but I wouldn't say my collection is very big. I tend to be somewhat elitist in the selection of games I play. But here is my physical collection, and for the most part, entire collection. I only have 3 or 4 games in digital form. I tend to buy everything in physical hard copies.

The Witcher (Enhanced Edition)
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Enhanced Edition)
Gothic
Gothic II: Night of the Raven
Gothic 3
Risen
Risen II: Dark Waters (none of the expansions)
Two Worlds
Two Worlds II
The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind (with expansions)
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (with expansions)
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (none of the expansions)
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2 (with Lair of the Shadowbroker)
Mass Effect 3 (with From Ashes)
Baldur's Gate (with expansion)
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (with expansion)
Fallout
Fallout 2
Fallout: Tactics
Planescape: Torment
IceWind Dale (with expansion)
IceWind Dale II
Mount & Blade: Warband
Medieval: Total War (with expansion)
Rome: Total War (with expansion)
Medieval II: Total War (with expansion)
Stronghold
Stronghold: Crusader
Age of Empires (with expansion)
Age of Empires II (with expansion)
Age of Mythology
Rise of Nations (with expansion)
Alexander (mediocre movie licensed RTS)
Rise & Fall: Civilisations at War
The Guild 2
Worms 2
Worms Armageddon
Grand Theft Auto III
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (with expansions)
F.E.A.R. (with expansions)
Titan Quest (with expansion)
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Europa Universalis: Rome (with expansion)
Delta Force
Delta Force 2
Delta Force Xtreme
Hexen: Beyond Heretic
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (my childhood favourite)
Battle for Middle-Easrth II (no expansion)
Croc: Legend of the Gobos
Shadowman
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver II
Powerslide (the first video game I ever owned)

It's a pretty humble collection, but one I enjoy quite immensely. Most of them are very fine games, with only a few blunders.

Company of Heroes (and all the expansions)
Counterstrike Source (also includes Half-life 2: Deathmatch and Day of Defeat)
Age of Mythology
Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive (aka, the only good CoDs except for CoD 4)
Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge
Command and Conquer 2
Command and Conquer: Renegade
Age of Empires 2 and Crusader Kings
The Movies
Mafia: City of Lost Heaven (wish they still made shooters like it)
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
Diablo 2 and Lord of Destruction
Command and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour

That's all I can name off the top of my head right now, since I'm not at home - but I feel like I'm missing a few games.

Too many to name. Except I am rather proud of my original-boxed-collector's-set of Age of Empires. AoM: Titans is amazingly hard to find for reasonable prices, and most copies of the AoM CE are missing the feelie Minotaur.

Star Wars KOTOR
Dragon age 2

I'm sure there are more, I have boxes and boxes of CDs with (mostly) Playstation 1 games

At the moment, 100% of my 0 PC games are hard copies.
Back in the day though, I had quite a few.
I managed to escape PC gaming before you had to deal with Valve.

Same here. I buy practically all my games as physical copies. Sometimes I really go out of my way to find a physical copy of obscure games, but I try to get them anyway. The only exceptions are games I picked up from Steam sales for outrageously low prices. Call me oldfashioned, but I like to be able to touch what I buy.

How many hard copies? I'd say some 70-80 games.

Not many newer games actually, as I don't have a license yet so digital purchases are more convenient. But I do have
Saints Row The Third
Dead Island
Far Cry 3
Sims 3 (plus expansions)
Guild Wars
Sims 2 (plus expansions)
Star Wars: Jedi Knight
Mechwarrior 2
Half-Life
Far Cry
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Full Throttle
A random assortment of gambling games (Given to me by my grandfather...yay.)
Diablo 2 (And the expansion)
Need for Speed Underground

I had a lot more older games, but I lost them years ago on a bus in a case full of other CDs.

Umm not very many considering I have a good 100 titles on steam...

Dark Souls (it was cheaper and came with artbookm, OST, poster, etc...)
Singularity
Civilization V Gold

And then I got the following in bundle offers recently:
Call of Duty 4, World at War and Modern Warfare 2, and Fallout: New Vegas.

There's also a copy of worms armageddon and typing of the dead somewhere.

I have a decent number of hard copies, but none that are less than 10 years old, so it's probably not worth listing them. I've fully switched to digital, it seems. Or for PC games at least, since I still buy hard copies of a lot of console stuff.
