considered that i play pc games since arround 20 years now, more than i could ever list here..nowadays not many anymore though, since a: i live in a country where it's legal to download anything that i don't deem worth buying (harrr!) and b: keystores offering tripple A games for 20 bucks or so on release is just too tempting, no matter how much i like boxed copies..
I'm pretty much all digital when it comes to PC games nowadays, and as a kid I had a friend who shared his PC game library with the rest of us who didn't have a gamer dad buying every single new release ever,

Remember that old box set, Star Wars: Best of PC? Got that because I couldn't find a hard copy of KOTOR 1 on its own, so that means I own KOTOR, Star Wars Republic Commando, Star Wars Empire at War (totally worth owning twice), Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Academy, and a 30 day free trial to Star Wars Galaxies. Never capitalized on that. Too bad it died, because I played an Emulator of the earlier version and IT was fun and very unique.
And also KOTOR 2 (much worse than the original in my opinion. Felt too unfinished and ultimately kinda pointless)
So that totals up to a little under 30. I've only beaten about 20 of them. Need to get around to the last few.

Every game bought is/was in the form of a hard copy, little over two dozen games or so remain, quite a few of which have been mentioned by others.
Granted, a couple of those disks simply have validation file on them, courtesy of Valve and their Steam.
