I have a condition in my right wrist called scapholunate instability which went without a diagnosis for years. It basically means constant pain of some sort, and worse whenever I bend it or put pressure on my wrist.
I have four scars around my wrist/forearm from a few surgeries that tried to stabilize the joint, but they tend to fail after about a year. Which I'm afraid has happened again, since the pain has come back :C I try to make the best of it and don't let it stop me from being a professional artist or a piano player, or going to the gym and working out. But sometimes I wish there was a treatment that will work, besides a wrist fusion or removing one of the bones, since that's typically done on old people, hence no long-term studies I'd lose even more motion in that joint.
Oh yeah, and this is more of a weird thing, but every time I drink a bit of alcohol, or get embarrassed, or nervous or really any kind of strong feeling of emotion, my upper chest gets splotchy and red. It doesn't bother me too much, except that people always ask what's wrong with me when I go out for some drinks, and it's very embarrassing for job interviews and presentations and such. My mom has this, too, but as far as I know, it's a medical mystery and no one knows why it happens.
