Well now, that wasn't very nice. What's wrong with looking stylish?Full Metal Bolshevik said:I'm not a woman, so no. Never even thought about it.
I'm guess I'm just not as shallow as you guys.
I still like them, I just don't wear or even own one because I know I don't have the rest of the outfit to go with it. I don't really know what sort of hat compliments an ordinary leather jacket anyways.Realitycrash said:About a million other people thought the same thing, and now the Fedora (the hat he wears) is sort of suffering for it, due to certain..Eh.."Cultural connotations" with the "Nice Guys" and Hipsters.AdrianCeltigar said:Right after I saw Watchmen in theatres I was asked what I thought of the movie. Actually I believe the Blues Brothers wore Trilbys or Pork Pie hats (Fedoras have a wider brim, see Indiana Jones)Realitycrash said:About a million other people thought the same thing, and now the Fedora (the hat he wears) is sort of suffering for it, due to certain..Eh.."Cultural connotations" with the "Nice Guys" and Hipsters.AdrianCeltigar said:Right after I saw Watchmen in theatres I was asked what I thought of the movie. That is a Fedora done RIGHT and one get-up I certainly desire.
Which might very well be true, but it is a self-defeating point. You see, very few people actually know the difference between a Trilby/Pork Pie and a Fedora, so they get grouped up, carrying the same connotations for the masses at large.putowtin said:Actually I believe the Blues Brothers wore Trilbys or Pork Pie hats (Fedoras have a wider brim, see Indiana Jones)Realitycrash said:About a million other people thought the same thing, and now the Fedora (the hat he wears) is sort of suffering for it, due to certain..Eh.."Cultural connotations" with the "Nice Guys" and Hipsters.AdrianCeltigar said:Right after I saw Watchmen in theatres I was asked what I thought of the movie.
