Pidgey, I've always wanted a pet bird/carrier pigeon, plus I can't imagine having too much trouble with it's later evolutions, they hunt their own food, they bathe themselves. It'd be more like a friend than a pet.
those would be pretty cool as it would be realist to keep them as a pet

So yeah. Best guard animal, and i could ride him/her like an exceptionally fast horse that can power my entire house for a year with a single 1/2 strength Thunder attack and create lightning storms at any time for fun. Also, mind-to-mind communication would come in damn useful.
Hell, in any test i could be all 'Google the answer for me bro' and my bro would do it.
Failing that, an Umbreon would be pretty sweet. I'm assuming it's just going to be a slightly more lethal cat that can also do the mind-to-mind thing.
Chances are good, though, being a cat when i ask it to check something for me it'd tell me to fuck myself.
OT: Latias. She is soft, turns invincible, psychic ability's could be handy, and can change her form to that of a human! Plus she is adorable! Look at this cutie!
Plus I could ride her a near mach speeds.
If not Latias I would take Absol!
