Man, I don't hate Paramore yet. I dislike them because they are mostly trying to be a Avril/Evanescence clone, but so far, they've had MINIMAL impact on the music scene. Two songs on Rock Band that are annoyingly catchy.
Fallout Boy (or as I call them, FAILout Boy) and Plain White T's, followed by 30 Seconds to Mars, and then Linkin Park. Talk about emo clones of each other, geez.
The worst and probably most damaging music group in the industry right now is the Jonas Brothers. Not just because their music is mostly covers of other bands' songs and crappy pop music, but because they've engendered a whole generation of young people to think you can be fucking lazy and barely talented to be a star. If I hear another young person say that they are like or better than the motherfucking Beatles, I will so grab the front of their shirt and shake them until they can't speak.

All rap I've heard I've disliked thoroughly, also, My chemical romance drive me a bit nuts.
There are dozens of bands I hate, but thinking about them is unpleasant so I'll stop there.

I enjoy a wide range of music, and I cannot with assurance say I hate a band. Perhaps dislike, and even then it'd be one song, or an album.
I can say, that I [i\]really[/i] dislike Saving Abel, Creed, Nickelback, and some other stupid band that got damn close to being on my hate list.
The others at least some good songs.
And why does everyone hate My Chemical Romance? Sure, I didn't think most of their earlier stuff was all [i\]that[/i] great, but the Black Parade was well done.
Is it the lead singer's voice? Is it something in the guitars or drums? Or is it the subject of their songs?

I envy you. Really, I do. They're a Canadian pop-punk band who spend most of their time singing about how much it sucks to be an adolescent and why they're so hard-done by... oh yes, and they're white as the north pole. I really hate the Jonas Brothers and stuff. Linkin Park is...ehh. They certainly don't deserve all of the amazing ratings they get. I hate a lot of mainstream rap, because it's annoying as heck. A lot of the hip-hop my friends listen to gets on my nerves as well. Most of the stuff I have to say has already been said. I haven't listened to a lot of these. Maybe I will, so that I can join in the hating.
Edit: ...Well, that was a learning experience. I listened to some Nickelback, My Chemical Romance, and Dragon Force. Does anybody have some good ideas for some sort of thing to clean my ears out? They hurt so bad right now...

If I could interject, all the geeky guys at my school are obsessed with that awful piece of writing. Eragon was a mediocre at best book and yet people treat it like it's awesome.MaxTheReaper said:

Every new band that has made it on the TV for the last 7 years! Also, I hate anyone that hates good bands and say that some of the old bands are overrated, their opinions are as bad as the people who like the Jonas Brothers! You know who you are!
