The ability to shoot strawberry yogurt out of your armpits. (Guess the reference)
Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. It's partially hydrogenated!
OT: The power summon poisonous sandwiches so his enemies eat said sandwiches and die.
So let me get this straight, he's in the middle of a fight and says "oh by the way, how about a lovely cheese sandwich I made for you?". Also, read my first post, I am looking for serious ideas and not silly or comedic powers

Make your superhero a ninja.

Or make someone else a ninja (the ninja will be the most epic person in the comic by default)

Just as long as your story has a ninja somewhere, ninjas make EVERYTHING better.
Ninja's don't work in comics...

Nobody enjoys empty panels.

You're hero created a mechanical person, this mechanical person hates the hero but is forced to obey him in doing the good stuff our hero tells him to.

later in the story the hero is being constantly tormented by the mechanical person to the point where he is suicidal.

at the end of the story the hero hangs/shoots him self and the comic ends with the mechanical man cradling the hero in his arms seeking absolution from the life-less corpse.

Or something along those lines.

"Attended private school from the age of 5 where he was seen as an outcast by the other boys for his "peculiar" abilities. "

Now there's a sentence that shouldn't be read out of context.

I agree. The ability to grab a cherry between his bum cheeks without squashing it and carrying it 20 feet

1: the ability to cause an atomic orgasm on touch.

that's it. that's all any one would need. think about it.

Bad guy: i'm going to use these warheads to destroy all the worlds hospitals and then...*clutches genitals, as radioactive spunk fills his trousers* Ugh...*falls to floor giggling*

that would get some ones "creative juices flowing".

I know i'm terrible. =]

The power to control shadows. In the sense that he can turn shadows into a physical force such as claws or arms to grab and attack enemies. Light would, obviously be his weakness, however strong light casts a strong shadow. The tone would obviously be a darker one as his powers would be more effective at night. Unlike super strength, or indestructibility this is the type of power that can be scaled over time so the hero could start off with little control, and end up with ultimate power over the night.

Note this is NOT like "The Darkness" where the night gives you demon arms and snapping jaws out of your back. Rather imagine if shadows didn't stay in the shadows and could rise up and attack you.

Why is it that people seem to ignore my clear "no silly powers" plea?

The power of super heat and the ability to turn people into chocolate. He could change them to chocolate, then melt them, then eat them!

Maybe there is a company of ninja-like mercenaries trying to capture him. The story behind it would have to be that the mercenaries' employers were conducting experiments on our hero when he escaped
He could have cyborg ninja parts implanted in him as part of the experiment. That would be cool.
Enough with the fucking Grey Fox references. We get it. You enjoy a good ninja.
Stop.
There should just be ninjas in everything. They make everything better.

OP, do at least one ninja somewhere.

The power of semi-randomness.

When hit his powers protect him more or less succesfull in a random way, teleport away, invisibilitym, stoneskin, stuff like that.
When he gets angry his powers do something agressive like, spontaneus laser burst from eyes, grow claws/blades/spikes from somewhere (hands elbows knees etc.)
If he gets scared epic shit, like prototype devastator moves, fire-novas mass teleport.

The power of random powers is really awesome, and could make for a fun comic
