Sometimes video games come up with things just so cool, using it through a keyboard and mouse/controller just isn't enough; you want to physically hold, touch it, and [CENSORED] with [CENSORED] and [CENSORED], then [CENSORED] it (please tell me I'm not the only one whose dreamed about this).
Anyway, I remember looking at this article of a Portal Gun prop [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.84784-Note-Replica-Portal-Gun-A-Huge-Success], and thinking, "I don't care if it works, just let me have it!!!"
So Escapists, what things from video games would you want as replicas/usable furniture?
I've thought of things like:
- a Team Fortress 2 Engineer Dispenser [http://www.tfportal.de/gfx/content/tf2/weapons/dispenser2.jpg] that could be a mini-fridge/drawer
- a T-51 wearable power helmet [http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images//d/d1/Boxart.jpg] (hopefully they can 1-up Halo 3's unwearable Spartan helmet)
- a Combine supply crate [http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/half-life/en/images/thumb/0/08/Supply_crate.jpg/240px-Supply_crate.jpg] to put my stuff in
- a Combine Health Dispenser [http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/half-life/en/images/thumb/9/94/Health_Charger.jpg/150px-Health_Charger.jpg] front for my medicine cabinet
- a Combine door knob [http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/half-life/en/images/d/d3/Combinelock.jpg] (as you can probably tell, I love Combine stuff)
- a clip-on Captain Price beard and Boonie Hat
