What PS3 games should I get?

All three Ratchet & Clank Future games, definitely. They've got cute protagonist, insane weaponry, and are of good quality overall. If you want to catch a break from all the grim-n-gritty FPSes, look no further.

Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, Demon's Souls, inFamous, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2 or God of War 3.

Careful with that pre-order crap. I preordered Revenge of the Fallen at Gamestop because I love transformers and you got a gold Prime and Megs for multiplayer. What I DIDN'T know was that when you picked it up you were supposed to get a free comic book with it that had the special code for the gold guys, and I spent the extra money to preorder it and got shafted.

Oh that blows about the comic having the codes attached to it instead of a stand-alone card with them and losing out on the comic too.

Big problem for me comparing the community on PS3 to XBox is that I've only ever been around one multiplayer game on 360, and that was Halo, which is a known stomping ground for prepubescent emo kids with anger management problems and a shortage of razorblades.

On PSN there's been a fairly wide selection of contacts I've had, but at worst I've heard condescendingly claiming to be superior because I beat them with a "noob weapon" while giving me advice on how to improve my skill with "proper weapons"

Most experiences have been positive and friendly. Of course, I've mainly played LittleBigPlanet and Warhawk when I've been online. And I've heard a lot of bad stories about idiots playing Endwar, but I somehow bypassed any contact with them and only met helpful friendly experienced players advising me how to improve.

If want a fighting game, I'd suggest raging blast 2. It's got some really nice gameplay and graphics.
