Hey dude. Wanna hang around? I'm on a Eurotrip and could easily go to your part of Europe if you so wish so :) we'd have tons to talk about!

As for me. I guess it would be the same as the thing mentioned above on the quote. Also is the fact tha I've fallen in love with someone from another country, which makes it next to impossible to be casual about things. Drastic measures need to be taken in order to make it work, but that forces us to go quicker than we're ready to go.
Gah. I wish could just be simple sometimes. Just simple. Uncomplicated.
That would be the best Christmas present ever.
Don't we all? Still, sorry for not replying to your PM, unfortunately, dealing with potential happiness is not my forte. As you can tell, dealing with sorrow is... *sigh*

I love a girl who I can never make happy, and nor will she ever make me happy, but we love each other more than we should.

Recently?

Had a really tough Calculus 2 exam, and I'm waiting on the results. If I don't get a C- or better, my ass is kicked out of university for a year. -_-

Then, my dad (manager at a plastic moulding place) got suddenly laid off. Their revolutionary, super awesome product never really took off (the company made a lot of stupid marketing decisions), and so he was the most expendable, despite all the hours and hours and hours of unpaid overtime he did all the time. -_-

And a few other, smaller things (360 controller stick starting to jam in one position, etc).

So, yeah, I am a bit down.

Been working solidly for 14 days straight and have another five to go before I get a day off. Also there is this girl at work that I really like and have asked her out to see a film or eat something and she said yes. But now she doesn't seem to interested. Mixed signals much?!

Also one of my best mates is not coming back from Australia... well he is but only for one day. This Sunday and I can't see him as he'll still be 250 miles away (Where we used to live) and I can't get the time off work.

Sometimes just general things in life, knowing how much college has become, price wise, what is expected of me, how difficult my job may be, keeping in touch with friends and family, etc.

Modern day "societal progression". We're going backwards in many ways. We're breaking codes, loosing the ways which made us good human beings, forgetting what our forefathers strived for...and all people retaliate with is "what about [insert something that doesn't make the past cruel and immoral]".

It's sad. It truly truly is. Everyone wants to go forward but it's always in the wrong, misconstrued, falsified direction. We lack soul in these generations.

I'm down because my dog bit the postman. If the postman reports him my dog might get put down.

Being made redundant. Has happened 3 times.....would think i would be used to it by now.

People who feel bad about poor people in africa etc are not sad. They are confusing sadness with guilt.

My below average results I got today.

Also my dad being a bit of a penis about it.
I know the feeling.
Only my dad has been bitching since I finished my exams over a month ago that I better get into University.
Well I did (my first choice Uni and everything) and it's still not good enough for him because my grades still weren't great.

The prospect of returning to school in a few weeks, high school specifically. There's no way I can enjoy my summer anymore, and I'm going to spend the last few free days reverting into the mindless zombie mindset that I always have when going to school of any kind.

The video of those punk kids and the puppy. If you don't know which one I'm talking about, count yourself lucky. Trust me, you don't want to know.

I was just reading a few wikis about various cancelled shows that used to air on Nick. Specifically, I read about Wild N' Crazy Kids, Nick Arcade and, What would you Do. Kind of a double hit there, first off these were all shows I loved to watch when I was a kid. The second thing was something I never realized until just now (even though I had an idea back then while I watched)

Wild and Crazy Kids was filmed in California whereas the other two were filmed in Florida but I never realized as a kid how far away those shows were from me. I had always wanted to participate on those shows but...well, I couldn't. I lived outside of DC which was farther than I thought to Orlando (still about a 12 hour drive) but a lot of other shows were filmed in, or at least focused on, California.

I don't know why I'm so bummed by that information...I mean, I know I'm well past that time when I'd be able to be on those shows and I know that even when I was old enough Nick had lost it's soul. Still, it bummed me right the hell out.

edit: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand now I've looked at tickets to get into Universal Studios...and I am feeling down again...

Well, I'm not in school, no job, no car, no friends, so anything that reminds me of those things, puts me back into my funk. Then I look at stuff like "riot kid" and makes me feel like an ass for complaining about my problems, so that sure doesn't make things better.
