I finally broke my writer's block that had me sitting and doing precisely nothing on my novel since three months ago.
And I am looking forward to the evening, for my significant other is arriving back home after 5 months of being away.
Today is a good day for me.

Everything completely broke at work today in a project that had to be released today, it made me happy in a schadenfreude type of way. I also only have 6 days left at work so that's been cheering me up too.

I got a letter in the post; I've failed two pieces of university coursework and to be allowed to return for my second year I will have to redo them by August. Shit news (which I've been having a lot of lately), but I sat down, wrote (and finished) three songs which are some of the best I've ever done. I feel like what I write no longer sounds like crappy knock-offs of bands or just plain shit. It makes me happy that I have a way of expressing myself and that I can feel and hear myself improving in it.
