What Race Do You Use In Skyrim? [And Why]

I play Argonian because back when I bought TES: Arena many years ago, the game didn't tell you what each race was until you got the stats screen, so I ended up being Argonian then. I got on with it quite well and so I've played Argonian in every other TES game ever since.
I have 3 characters.
Altmer mage, because he just knows he's better than everyone. And he's going to prove it by melting your skin off.
Khajiit sneak-thief. Love the fist fighting+nightvision.
Nord 2h warrior. You know why. (Also siding with the imperials ;])

im a khajiit, as i like to be a thief and love specialising in stealth so i went with khajiit.
although becuase of the perks system i couldve been an orc that was stealthy...now that i think about that would be pretty cool.

I'm playing a Dark Elf, because they look cool. Also, +10 to Destruction magic is right up my alley.
Im playing as a Nordic Archer Thief... i was gonna play an Elf but they look Fugly, and seeing as i was planning to go with the Stormcloaks i figured being a Nord would be fun.. however i've since changed my minds and gone with the Empire so.. oh well... still love the 50% cold resistance though.
Khajiit.
Because they are Khajiit.
You don't need any other reason.
Ok ok. I like playing sneaky thieves so their bonus to light armor and sneak was perfect. Night Eye is damn handy now that it's more exclusive to Khajiit instead of being a novice level Mysticism spell that any character could get 10 minutes from the start. Also they are Khajiit!

(That was half sarcasm and half excitement, since I havent seen this particular thread yet)
I originally picked a Nord with 2 handers but I abandoned that pretty quickly, I like to think my main character Is my Orc warrior.
They made Orcs look suitably badass in this game, actually everything looks better, much better than Oblivions Satanic barbies they called NPC's

Well I'm playing a sneaky Argonian mage with a dagger for backup, I pretty much picked Argonian because they look badass, not having to worry about running out of breath underwater and the disease resistance is quite nice too. To be honest I've never actually used the Histskin ability, but I'm sure it would be very useful... every level up I've boosted my magicka and I play on master so I pretty much get one shotted by enemies that I can't one shot so I don't have much use for the health regen boost. Oh yeah Argonians get some sneak and lockpicking bonuses which also benefit my sneaky playstyle. I'm kinda wishing I chose to play as a High Elf because I always seem to run out of magicka too fast.
Wood elf cuz I wanted to be an archer I got a Legendary Daedric Bow and now I deeply regret it nothing is strong enough to take a direct hit from my bow....
also apparently they are 50% immune to poison and diseases which are really bothersome or so I heard from my friend which plays as a nord.

Argonian. I think since I tried an Argonian on Morrowind, I've alway used them. Waterbreathing is retty usefulfor one, add to that the new histskin that essentially makes you invulnerable for a while and you're golden.
Shame that all the masks in the game cut off your snout, but there we go.

I usually pick a Breton, partially because I like the extra magic-based boosts, but mostly because it sounds like a Briton, which I am.
