After just playing and loving the Katamari Forever demo (even though it's pretty damned hard, I keep getting awful scores) and ultimately ordering it, I took a good look to my other PS3 games: BioShock 2, MW2, BC2, RDR, Resistance 2, Uncharted. And I realised; my PS3 'collection' is full of murder-death-kill games (except for Batman: AA, he just kicks the shit out of his victims) and between all this, out of all things, Katamari Forever will stand. How insane, and thus awesome.

For the ones who don't know, this is Katamari:

The rest of my game collection is pretty, say, Renaissance, with a wide variety of genres and styles, but I must say that Katamari Forever will really stand out, not just in my PS3 collection.

So what's the really weird game in your collection?

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.

Right now it is the only game I own. So it reeeally stands out. *Especially* considering I don't have a PS2 to play it on.

Little Big Planet stands out against the wall of shooting and ball games, it's also the second best game I own, which is nice.

PS3:

Disgaea 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes and Katamari Forever. The only games I still own for the console that's not dark and bleak.

Wii: Okami: Because it's fucking Okami.

DS: Jump Ultimate Superstars/Shonen Jump Superstars/One Pece Gear Spirit: They've got One Piece in them, Japanese only and are the only fighting games.

PC: Warcraft 3: The only one I ever go on.

Uhh... Rainbow Six Vegas, I guess. Because it's the only game I own a physical copy of that isn't forgotten and collecting dust in basement. Though that's only because I haven't played it yet. It'll join with all the others when I get around to playing it through.
You solely use digital distribution nowadays?

PS3:
Soulcalibur IV (only fighter I've ever bought)
Noby Noby Boy
Flower
Tales Of Monkey Island

PSP:
Echochrome
Patapon

DS:
Elite Beat Agents

PS2:
ICO
Okami
Rez
Killer 7

I only included current systems. Most of my other games are shooters/action games and RPGs, with some platformers thrown in. On the whole I like a wide variety of genres, but these stand out most.

Flower probably. As for "collector's" value, I have loads of old adventure games in their original packaging, like Phantasmagoria, The Dig and Day of the Tentacle, those were the first "real" games I got into and are pretty much impossible to find today... I also have a soft spot for the Bioshock 2 collector's edition, I love listening to the soundtracks, I have framed the posters and hung them around my TV and I occasionally browse through the artbook. Great purchase.

Europa Universalis III is pretty stand-out among my collection of mainly FPS games and games where it's all about murder. And I love it.

Football Manager 2007 and Beijing 2008.
Those got people quite surprised.

You could also say, umm, Fight Night. Seeing how I'm really not a boxing fan.

Skate 2....
I'm not really sure why I got it other than me thinking it would be like the old Tony Hawk games I used to enjoy.

But if you count all the games in my house, probably Singstar ABBA is the most out of place (it belongs to my GF who loves them).

Collectors value (sentimental, mostly)?

My two old Thief versions (Thief: The Dark Project and Thief: The Metal Age)--the two huge rectangle boxes still sit at the top of a bookshelf. They even moved through countries with me.
That, and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, because I acquired one of the life sized Sam Fisher statues that are shown and expos and in game stores after I played the game.

General awesomeness?
Well, seeing as when I buy retail I pretty much always buy collectors editions (I love collecting things).. I don't really know. The Deus Ex Platinum ED I found before I knew about ebay maybe? I didn't know about the game back then and it was already old, so finding that gem in a pile of other games was a wonderful coincidence. It turned into one of my top 5 games a few hours later.

My game collection is pretty allround (shooters, RPG, RTS, wacky puzzle games (Katamari Forever rules), platformers, hack & slash, you name it), I really can't think of anything that is out of the ordinary... Out of the games I've played a lot over the years, I suppose Star Wars Episode One Racer stands out, as I usually detest racing games, but I always loved this one.

My library consists almost exclusively of RPGs and Shooters (FP or otherwise), so Rock Band stands out pretty well. Only music game I've ever really liked playing.

Physically I'd say my collector's editions (Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins), they are friggin' huge compared to the other games!

The odd one out in terms of actual games though has to be Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones for the 360, both in the same box. I actually haven't played either of them yet. Oddly enough I got it for free at my local GAME, simply because I smiled at the girl behind the counter, or at least that's what she told me. True story!

Probably BMX XXX for the Gamecube. I don't normally collect games based on them being notoriously bad and don't normally buy sports games so this sort of stands out, sitting between Super Mario Sunshine and Star Wars Rogue Leader.
