A vanilla coke and a good "Fuck you!" To people who are overly pessimistic.

Also, the green lantern oath is another good one.

"In brightest day,
in blackest night,
no evil shall escape my sight,
let those who worship evil's might,
beware my power,
GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT!"

No matter how many grisly murders I see on the news,
No matter how many CEOs who blow money on gilding their yacht's toilet seats while good, hardworking people go homeless,
No matter how many complete idiots who get their own TV shows,
No matter how many right-wing extremists who yell that all non-whites and gays are evil,

This and only this can restore my faith in humanity.

Life is an awesome gift for all to enjoy.

Hi,

After hearing all the 'I lost all faith in humanity' rubbish knocking around these forums as of late, i thought that I'd try to find the moments that make us realise that the world isn't such a bad place and all people aren't mean spirited idiots.

So what has happened to you recently to restore a little of your faith in the world?

I recently ate my first burger king burger in a long time (the closed the one where i live) and it was unbelievably reassuring to find it wasn't nostalgia, it actually does taste as great as i remember... a great day :)

Over to you!
Well aside from the multitude of food and media that I love, I'm always heartened by meeting people who do good for good's sake. They're very rare, but every time I meet one, it makes me proud to be human.

Generally speaking though, I very rarely find anything that really brings me down. The world does what it does, and despite all the bad things we hear happening, most will never affect us, and worrying about them won't change anything.

Mine is a strange one, and it relates to this website too. Whenever I read this article http://classygamer.blogspot.com/2010/04/hardcore-gamers-unite-against-casual.html I remember that amid the horrible things we have done, there are still some people who shine against the dark. I always remember that we won.

Really, I'm just an optimistic kind of guy. I don't really ever TRULY lose hope for humanity. I believe that, someday, we'll manage to rise above our petty squabbles and become a truly great society.

But currently, the fact that Marvel vs Capcom 3 is actually being MADE shows me that there is true goodness in the world.

Jack Thompson getting disbarred is strike two, showing that we, as humans, MUST have some semblance of common sense.

And the homerun has got to be whenever I see or hear about younger kids watching the old school cartoons I grew up with, like Batman and Animaniacs. This gives me hope that the younger generation MUST be a bright bunch, since they have such good taste.

Dr. Pepper.

And Lemmy Kilmister.
CHYES!

OP: for me it's music in general and things like "Hey, I'm going to die one day, soon, if you look at the scheme of things... May as well kick some arse!" (I mean kick arse in the context of being awesome not literally beating people)

There's a man at my gym who brings his young son with him. He teaches the boy how to use the equipment and they work out together. This boy is learning the importance of physical fitness and to appreciate and care for his body.

Every time I see these too (and I see them often, it's not just a 1-shot thing with these 2), I feel the world's not all that bad. Some people do get it right.

After 5 minutes of trying to think of something better than this, I failed.

The simplest answer is usually the correct answer. Boobs, it is.
What if...now hear me out...
What if there was a tray of freshly cooked bacon in front of said boobs? Did I make it better?
