What RPG class would you be in the event of a zombie apocalypse?

well, most OP has already been said, being necromancer, why fight the zombies when you can enslave them and use them as your own private army

but I would go as a paladin type, I can heal myself but I also swing a large sword around and kick zombie ass

i dont think vampires or werewolves count as classes. though either would probably be pretty good.

anyways, as for what class i'd be, probably either a hunter, for obvious reasons such as survival skills, traps, and archery which would all be usefull; or a druid. it would be quite easy to survive zombieland by turning into a bird and fly above the hordes of undead while their numbers slowly dwindle. also some elemental magic for when flying away just wont cut it (ie. needing to help save some survivors, looting a warehouse for supplies as examples.

Ranger Tempest FTW!!! With modern rifles instead of bows, and pistols instead of the twin swords... bows are only effective inside of ~60 yds, and swords are only effective inside 2 yds.

Rifles can kill from 1.5 miles, and pistols from 100 yds if you're good.
All about the range people, all about the range.

WoD doesn't have classes, yet their take on survival horror is seen as one of the better rule sets for this scenario. Besides, obviously, for All Flesh Must be Eaten.


EDIT: If I am going to be elitist about this, I might as well go all the way.
Besides, a Promethean is a much better template to put on a character. Get the right one and they are immune to all toxins (won't worry about getting infected) and don't need to sleep or eat.
