Probably the Metal Gear games.

Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Other than that, I usually only have one or two games from the same franchise.

EDIT: Oh wait, I have all the Monkey Island games too.

12 C&C games.
I guess this too, because I got the C&C 10th Anniversary pack after owning most of the earlier ones as a kid.

Then I also got Tiberian Wars and RA3.

Same with me, and it would be something like CoD, but I've traded them all back. I never thought of a subject like this so it took me a second to realize that I have so many of these games.

Final Fantasy 1 - GBA
Final Fantasy 2 - GBA
Final Fantasy 4 - SNES
Final Fantasy 5 - SNES
Final Fantasy 6 - SNES
Final Fantasy 7 - PSone d/l
Final Fantasy 8 - PSone d/l
Final Fantasy 9 - PSone d/l
Final Fantasy Tactics - PSone disk

*cough* Football Manager. If you include all the SI games, I have:

Championship Manager 2
Championship Manager 2 Foreign Leagues
Championship Manager 99/00
Championship Manager 00/01
Championship Manager 4
Football Manager 2006
Football Manager 2007
Football Manager 2008
Football Manager 2009
Football Manager 2010
Football Manager 2011

Christ. I usually buy them way after they come out and they're like £10 so whatever. Fantastic time killer when you don't have any money. They're cheap, low intensity and you can sit down and play them for hours on end. The thing is, you can play it in the background so it's like... I'll put on the TV or a film or pick up a book and you can just play it in the background. But what's good about it is it's very smart. It looks easy on the face of it, but if you go for a challenging team, you've got you get your players as good as possible with limited budget and make a formation that compliments your strengths. Then you have to adapt in real time. It's very much like an RTS actually, but instead of killing people you're playing football.

Apart from that, I have the first 6 Tomb Raider games, Silent Hill 1, 2, 3 and Homecoming and all the Half Life games including the expansion packs.

Sam and Max if you consider each of the episodes as a separate game. I have the original Hit the Road from (Googles... 1993!? Damn I feel old!) 1993 as well as the 16 episodes that've been released over the past 5 years so that's 17 in total.

If that doesn't count then it'd be Final Fantasy. Or C&C as I've got that anniversary disc, C&C3, the expansion, RA3 and the expansion as well as C&C4 (Thank god I paid bugger all on a Steam deal rather than paying full price! What an atrocity!)

If Star Wars counts, I have most of them from X-Wing (1993) and onwards, except the "Lucas Learning" series and the console exclusives. I used to buy every Star Wars game indiscriminately until Force Unleashed came and shattered my dreams. Off the top of my head, I think I have about 30 including expansions.

If that doesn't count, I have every game of the Warcraft series (Orcs and Humans, Warcraft II + expansion, Warcraft III + expansion, WoW + 3 expansions). So 9 games including expansions.

If expansions don't count, I guess it would be Mario (SMW, All-Star, Kart, Mario 64, Kart 64, Galaxy, Galaxy 2).

Probably Resident Evil. I have:

Resident Evil zero (Gamecube)
Resident Evil (PS1)
Resident Evil: REmake (Gamecube)
Resident Evil: Deadly silence (Nintendo DS)
Resident Evil 2 (PS1 and Gamecube)
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PS1)
Resident Evil: Code veronica (PS2)
Resident Evil: Outbreak file #1 (PS2)
Resident Evil: Outbreak file #2 (PS2)
Resident Evil 4 (PS2 and Gamecube)
Resident Evil 5 (PS3)

Rest assured, if I had a Wii, I would have gotten Darkside chronicles and Umbrella chronicles. I love the Resident Evil series

I must admit though, I am getting quite a Silent Hill collection going as well, lets see:

Silent Hill: Origins (PSP)
Silent Hill (PS1)
Silent Hill 2 (with the born from a wish scenario) (PS2)
Silent Hill 2 (PS2)
Silent Hill 3 (PS2)
Silent Hill 4: The room (PS2)
Silent Hill: Homecoming (PS3)
Silent Hill: Shattered memories (PSP)

and rest assured, when the new Silent Hill comes out, I wil be out like a shot to get it (time and money permitting of course).

Touhou. I've got all the windows games, except for the Shoot the Bullet ones, plus a bunch of fan games.

That, or it's close with Pokemon.

Tied between Prince of Persia, Unreal, and Sonic.

For PoP, I have the entire Sands of Time trilogy on both Gamecube and PC (got the PC anthology at one point for cheap), and both PoP 2008 and Forgotten Sands on PS3. (Total = 5)

My Sonic library includes Adventure 1 and 2, Mega Collection, Gems Collection, and Shadow the Hedgehog. If I kept Sonic Heroes, this would be #1 though. (Total = 5)

I also have Unreal, Unreal 2, Unreal Tournament, UT 2004, and UT 3. (Total = 5)

After that, Burnout (4), and Castlevania (3). Not surprisingly, all of these make up my top 5 favorite game series.

I guess I just own a lot of games...

Mine is exactly like yours except I have XI instead of having physical posession of a copy of XII,(though I did own it at one time and sold in order to get the most money back out of it with the intention of repurchasing it later) my copy of 13 is PS3, and my current copies of 1& 2 is via GBA Dawn of Souls

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link's Awakening, Twilight Princess, A link to the Past, The Minish Cap, For Swords Adventure, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker. I pre-ordered Skyward Sword if that counts.

I guess for me it's Legend of Zelda since I own-

LOZ: Link to the Past
LOZ: Wind Waker
LOZ: Ocarina of Time
LOZ: Majora Mask
LOZ: Twilight Princess
LOZ: Phantom Hourglass
LOZ: Spirit Track

Also with the Metroid series (well half of it)

Metroid Zero
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime Echo
Metroid Prime 3 Corruption

I don't any of the games during the NES, SNES and Gameboy era and that DS game.

I have evewery canonical Metal Gear except the PSP entries, which makes sense considering I don't own a PSP.
