More maps, more varied guns, have the bullpup ARs be the most accurate ARs... MAKE IT GOOD!!1!!

reduced power to the knife
better spawn systems
removal of akimbo
better campaign (more akin to the first one)
more balanced perks (e.g lightweight OR marathon)
less/weaker killstreaks
a way to enforce the age limit (wishful thinking i know but still..)
more realistic guns (an LSW that is accurate, no shotguns from 120 years ago, et cetera)
more cooperating with vehicles, no driving them

i'll come back when i can think of more, in essence what i want is a plausible story supported by well considered and balanced multiplayer.

The one thing that I can think of is to have a voice pitch identifier, when somone talks and their voice to to high pitch, mute them. Other than that the game is allright, people can say its a bad game all they want, but I like it.

I hope they don't make another. ... /startRAGE ... I didn't like it because it is way to unrealistic for me .(I don't count graphics as realism) If I shoot you once or twice in the chest you should die or at least be out of the fight, if I shoot you in the leg you should slow down, if I shoot you in the arm you should have a hard time aiming, and if you are wounded at all you have to be patched up by a medic quickly. Oh and before I forget, it make people think that those guns actually work like that (such as killing someone who is over 50 yards away with a shotgun). ... /endRAGE ...

I saw a game recently with 1000 V 1000 player matches, that on a 20sq mile map with pilotable vehicles would be AWESOME on a new level. Maybe using frontlines: fuel of war as an example (1sq mile map) would be a good starting point.

I'm going to focus solely on multiplayer here.

- Fix the bugs. Obvious one really, actually have a public beta test so glitches can be weeded out before release and avoid weeks of Unlimited Care Package glitching.

- Bring back Dedicated Servers on PC version. There is no reason to take them away - there are so many hackers on the PC version; I ran into more in one week than my entire time playing TF2. The lag is pathetic as well - if you have a 'three bar' connection you have somewhere between 100 and 200 ping. Ridiculous.

- Remove the following perks:
Stopping Power, Danger Close, One Man Army, Commando, Last Stand.

Stopping Power isn't annoying or anything, I just think that you are pretty much forced to use it because everyone else is going to use it. Danger Close and One Man Army is a very overpowered combination that needs to be removed. Commando is just dumb that you can lunge from three metres away.

Last Stand is the worst perk in the game. People I shoot with a Sniper should not be able to deny me a kill by equipping Last Stand, then killing themselves with a stun grenade after I've shot them. Shooting someone point-blank with a SPAS-12, only for them to go into Last Stand and knife me in the shins is total bullshit.

- Remove the grenade launchers. They're cheap as hell, especially with One Man Army and Danger Close.

- Shotguns should be Primary weapons, not Secondary weapons. Secondaries should be restricted to Handguns and Anti-vehicle launchers.

- Remove Care Packages, Emergency Airdrops and Predator Missiles. The first two are bullshit because of the randomness; you should not get a Chopper Gunner for four kills. Predator Missiles are cheap as hell - at any time one could appear above your head and you have no defense for it.

- Balance the weapons more. Overall, Light Machine Guns need a buff, Assault Rifles a nerf. Some guns are so vastly inferior to their counterparts it's laughable (F2000, anyone?)

- Remove Tactical Insertions. Nuke Boosting sucks.

- Killstreaks should not count towarads your streak. 5 Kills should not get you an AC-130; 7 kills should not get you a Tactical Nuke.

- Remove Deathstreaks. I don't need to explain this.

For multiplayer, I guess naked chicks holding up the scores would be pretty snazzy...
On a more serious note, perhaps the scrappage of akimbo weapons, giving players who chose something like an assault rifle a chance to react. Nukes should also go drink some lead paint and die. Being on a server where the same person gets a nuke four games in a row is like being repeatedly slapped in the face whilst some politely tells you to keeps the squeels to a minimum as someone much better than you is trying to play.

As for single player, keep up the solid pacing and set pieces (jumping from roof to roof on Favela whilst being shot at was the bee's knees), but something needs to be done about the constant character swapping. A few characters to swap between is fine to tell different sides of the story, but it gets a little difficult to follow the plot when you're jumping around to get the best view of the action (i.e. watching the nuke from space). A little co-op wouldn't hurt either.

And as for icing on the cake, keep the Spec. Ops missions, and a Nazi Zombies mode wouldn't go amiss.

Wrote a lot more than I intended there...

I agree with this totally. That's why I liked the end of MW so much (when you hear the "news snippits" right after final mission). It was presented in a fashion not unlike what I've heard on the news before, and it gave an air of realism to the first MW that the second one lacked.

Also, am I the only one who wanted Price to ask "What the hell kind of name is Roach anyway?" during the sniper mission with him?

Really? You come on The Escapist and ask what Modern Warfare franchise needs? Well where do we start:

-Re-hire West and Zampella
-less to no interference from Activison
-completely distinguish itself from Treyarch's line of games
-Bring back dedicated server support
-generally support the PC version better
-support the PS3 version better (utilise Six-axis + PS3's larger CPU power)
-no more staggered release dates for map-packs at ridiculous prices
-fix the game-breaking killstreaks
-longer single player or otherwise increase re-playability
-Spend more than just 2 years working on the game, get rid of this ridiculous fixed release date

Realistic civilians in all appropriate (urban or similar maps) would be nice, I felt that the lack of them in many places lowered the realism of the game, children would be a bonus, although they would have to made "immortal" of-course...

Well I'd like dedicated servers back so I can actually get the game and play it. As no way I can play with P2P. Also I want bashing back screw this knifing there is no skill in it compared to bashing I mean the game pratically does it for you.
