Here's the story:
I have to go up to my high school in an hour and play in my small pep band for a home football game. I was forced into pep band by my two friends. I couldn't give a crap about the football game. It's raining here. We're going to be outside playing for the entirety of the game (about 2 hours) There are about 15 songs we play. Most are too hard for me to hit the notes on my trumpet. It's cold. My friend who also plays next to me shows off all the time and it annoys me. I have to have memorized about 6 of the songs, of which I have 0. I can't fake playing, there are too few people. I really want to stay in and write some music instead. But I can't.
My question is: When this madness is over, what should I do AFTER this? When I get home? Something that will make me forget about it completely.
