Are you guys, and 99% of everyone else in the world right now, saying this because M$ is trying SO HARD to combine everything into one box when most people, myself included, are just going to use it to game?

I mean, I watched their reveal/tech demo and I did think it was really cool in-of-itself but I'm not going to be using it in that way, I'm just going to play games.

You know, there is an easy way to deal with that; when you are not using it, just cover the kinect sensor with a towel or something.

As long as we are on the subject of Kinect, I was really worried when I heard they said it would require the sensor to run and that we'd all have to buy one. That would be the ultimate case of shooting themselves in the foot. But at least they were smart enough to include a sensor in the box.

I was actually saying it more about the other confirmed stuff, like the semi-online and used games, than the reveal. The social stuff is impressive, but pretty unnecessary. I felt disappointed about the reveal, but it didn't make or break anything for me; the other stuff will.
