Depends on what kind of mood I'm in, but the most recent one would have to be The Arms Of Sorrow by Killswitch Engage.

I'd have to say this one, not terribly sure why though.

Nagisa's Theme, from Clannad. Though I do know why that one hits me so deep... almost made me cry just hearing the song for a while after I finished the anime...
Oh carp, is it really that sad? I don't wanna finish watching it...

since, in my opinion, no songs get me very well. i'd say either "a little piece of heaven" by avenged sevenfold or "don't sit on the plexiglass toilet" by STYX (you may never find the song, so, take meh word on it)

Blood Brothers by Iron Maiden. It was made in memory of the bassist and founder Steve Harris who's father who passed away. Whenever i listen to it it makes me depressed.

Lately, it would be Mountains by Biffy Clyro, probably because of the Colin McRae tribute at the end of Dirt 2

The tribute if you feel so inclined to watch it

RIP Colin

When you listen to it, you ache, though for what you'll never know.
For what reason I'll never know, 'The Unforgettable Fire' by U2. I don't know what the songs about (some say it's about love, others say the Hiroshima bomb), and what's worse I don't know what feeling I'm supposed to be having when I hear it.

What I mean is, most songs you can tell if they're supposed to provoke happiness, sadness, aggression, anger, pride, etc, but this one I just can't figure it out. All I know is, when I hear this song, I have to stop what I'm doing and pay 100% attention to it. So no listening to it when I'm on my motorbike.

Here's a vid of it.

Actually, Birdhouse In Your Soul, for me. It's been stuck in my head for days.
God I love that song.

Something I Can Never Have by Nine Inch Nails
Let Down by Radiohead
The Good Left Undone by Rise Against
Are We The Waiting? and Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day
Man of the Hour by Pearl Jam

I can't explain the reasoning for all of these, but all of them give me an almost bursting sensation in my chest, kinda odd.
