Here Comes the Sun -Beatles
I Get By -Honest Bob and the Factory-To-Dealer Incentives
And I must advocate for relearning Stairway to Heaven; I have a friend that can play it and I don't think he has been playing as long as you.

Still Alive - I had to say it :)
Do you have any idea how hard it is to find good tabs for Still Alive? Almost all of them are completely wrong. The only way to do it is to play it by ear...

One of my favorite songs to play is "She is Beautiful" by Andrew W.K. It's real simple to play and sounds cool once you master it. But off of that list? Wayward Son. It's guitar part is much too cool. That, and More Than A Feeling.

Master of Puppets - Metallica

Seriously, it's not too bad, minus the solo. I can't play it quite at full speed, but a lot of practice and you should get it down well.

If all else fails: Pokemon theme.

You're missing so much... have you heard Mea Culpa by The Human Abstract? or Hand of Doom by Manowar? Or Sea of Fate by Rhapsody of Fire?

From the list:
FCPREMIX I think would be fun to play.
Crazy Train is a classic.
So is Carry on my Wayward Son.

Learn those.

This is weird I have ultimate-guitar.com open in the other tab and just scrolled past the same type of thread. Anyway, yeah you should join the community there, if you haven't already, great people with great advice. Just want to warn you that The Pit is a dark and dangerous place. If you join, my name's the same on there as it is here, add me.

As for the question at hand, listen to The Arctic Monkeys. They make great music that seems up your alley.
