I use my phone as an alarm clock meaning i can set any song from my music library as my alarm,
At the moment it's Dyers Eve by metallica. It's loud and heavy and actually wakes me up.

So what wakes you up, be it a song or an actual alarm clock? And how quick does it take you to get out of bed afterwards?

For me right now it is Vicarious by Tool, from my iPod in my iHome.

I go through 2 snooze cycles (18 minutes) to get up... It's because I'm lazy.

That, every morning when I have to get up early, that. I've never slept through it once.

'Good Morning' from Singin' In The Rain. It's perfect, chipper, and makes me smile.

Prepares me for a depressing day of university life, studying things that bore me and interacting with people I don't really like.

I don't have a song to wake me up, but if I did, it would totally be this song:
I honestly love this song and I cannot stop listening to it. It's just so cute!

Revalations by Dragonforce. That opening riff is just awesome.

I wake up to my alarm clock, to be honest. Otherwise, I tend to have some sort of metal song playing, like "<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ-4ctTErC0>Sworn Through Swords."

Whenever I really want to have a good day, though, I have this playing in the background.

Yes, I'm serious.

I still alternately praise and curse JulianKing for showing me that song, for I am the same.

My alarm clock (iPhone) just uses the generic, default"alarm" sound effect. Boring, but it gets the job done. Now, any time I hear that sound (it's used as an effect in some LRR videos for instance) I get an instant burst of adrenaline.

I use an alarm clock, but if I had to, I'd pick this:
Mainly because it's loud, and silly. It'd definitely get me up.

I don't whether to hit you or hug you for showing me this song. I was just about to go to sleep too...

EDIT: Also, I counter with/show you this song:
There, now we're even... I think... to an extent.

I need something loud to wake up to or I'll just keep sleeping due to the fact I've likely only gone to bed an hour previous

usually its something by this band

The original Pokemon theme song. "I want to be the very best" is the greatest line ever to wake up to.

I have to set three alarms, just in case the first two don't wake me up. 1 Billy Dean's remix of Thank God I'm a Country Boy. 2 John Mellencamp's Rain on the Scarecrow. 3 Black Betty by Ram Jam. I'm old school

I just have my phone set to vibrate, and the noise from its vibrations is sufficient to wake me up.

used to be system of a down, but then I would always get tired listening to them. so I have to change the music all the time or the music I wake up to will eventually put me back to sleep.

I am adaptive at sleeping my friends!

(right now The Doors Whiskey Bar)

My alarm starts 0:55 into this song. I'm a heavy sleeper, what can I say?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhVUfuhy_GU

Track 2 starts 0:04 into this song. (If the first makes me hide my head under my pillow, this changed my mind)

OT: Also, how do you post the actual video? The embedded link thingy doesn't work. It's probably obvious but I figured I might as well ask.
