seems like there are several who would like Dont stop me now. Certainly ironic, and a very good song altogether. Just out of curiosity am I the only one who cant hear that song without thinking of shawn of the dead?
What are you talking about? :S, i didnt say "Dont stop me now", i said "Don't Stop", as in the song "Don't Stop" by ATB -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlXoma6Xkos&feature=related

It has nothing to do with Shaun of the Dead, so i'm guessing you missread my post.

"Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits.
I could see that.

I'd have to say the song Joey Ramone listented to on his deathbed: In a Little While [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxCLGSHKDcw] by U2. By the way, I really like how the guy who made this video interpreted the song, especially since its really about a hangover. Open to interpretation, no matter what the original inspiration was, I guess.

On the other hand, Kite [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwMdO3HK_ws] might be more appropriate. I especially love this one line:
Kite said:
I'm not afraid to die
I'm not afraid to live
And when I'm flat on my back
I hope to feel like I did.

Amazing song, I thought I was the only one who knew about it. Heard that set once while peaking.

Comin' In On A Wing and a Prayer, as recorded by Ry Cooder. At the very least, I want it at my funeral!

Rolling Stones: You Can't Always Get What You Want. (As I die.)

Followed by Led Zep's: Ramble On, then Adagio in G Min by Tomaso Albinoni. (The funeral and service, the service will not be in a church or mosque or anything but will a general shout out to all Gods)

Then the Fairy Fellers Master Stroke by Queen as my corpse thrown into an active volcano wrapped in explosives.

I've thought this through.

Requiem for a dream, only those six and a half minutes of raw epic could really do justice to the undoubtly awesome way that I would go out...

"You Think I Ain't Worth A dollar But I feel Like A Millionaire" by Queens Of the Stone Age right before, then when I'm dead, "Wish You Were Here" (Pink Floyd) plays as my body falls to the ground in Slo Mo.

Pretty much any song off of Sufferer & The Witness.
Maybe Sympathy for The Devil.
"Rooftops" by lost prophets, maybe.
"Who wants to live forever?", quite possibly.
Or, Stairway to heaven.

"Expelled" by PAIN, maybe, because of the chorus:

No! I don't want to go now,
I don't want to leave,
I don't want to go (x2)
Don't take my life away now...

Or maybe "End of the Line" or "A Good Day to Die". But neither of those has quite the same level of irony.

If you could listen to the whole song before you die, then it would have to be "The Song That Never Ends". It goes on and on my friends...
