OT: Most Breaking Benjamin and Avenged Sevenfold songs remind me of Oblivion, as I was just getting into those bands when I was playing it

I was ill for a week, so I pretty much played non-stop Oblivion with intermissions of music. Good times indeed.

For me it's every game soundtrack I've downloaded, I almost always listen to the ingame music.

The only exception I remember is listening to Kind of Blue (and jazz in general) from Miles Davis while raiding in WoW. Chaotic bossfights become a lot more relaxed and manageable when you listen to the soothing tones of mister Davis.

Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan reminds me of Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, maybe I'm just a freak but that song seemed to fit that game for me... and Otherworld by Rammstein reminds me of Final Fantasy X because it plays during one of the opening cut scenes.

Nobody's Listening by Linkin Park always takes me back to Teldrassil in World of Warcraft for some odd reason.

For me it is one of my old Commodore 64 games, Doriath and the song Hall of the Mountain King. If you are a masochist and want to see what it was like playing games back in the early 80s, take a look here. Doriath is at the 4:11 mark and the song is at the 4:30 mark.

This might be cheating, but when I hear this song from a video game based off the movie "Stargate" (The Kurt Russell One), It makes me think of an RPG I'm making of RPG Maker 3.

Well I tend to get the soundtracks of quite a few games, so them, I guess.

I dunno really. I don't usually listen to music while playing games. Unless it's Brutal Legend, where there is no choice =P

I can't listen to Atreyu without thinking about Fable, seeing as I always used to listen to them while playing it.

And I can't listen to Finch without remembering my days of Dungeon Siege.
