I love a good instrumental.

Here's one for whenever I am down:

There are far too many to post. Green Unions? Classical Gas?Hungarian Dances? Fingal's Cave? Maple leaf Rag? Honey Dripper? I have a sort of unwritten rule that a band isn't really a band worth listening to if they can't offer a single instrumental. It's a rule that lets me exclude a lot of indy-rock, pop and punk music (but I make an exception for Hip-Hop).

This one goes to the French, no competition. I'm always smiling when I hear this piece.

Hmmm, don't have access to my music library here, so have to think off the top of my head.

The list of songs that give me a Shakabuku!! feeling are as follows:

Sunless Saturday - Fishbone. Pure. Fucking. Awesome.

Three Days - Jane's Addiction. Sonic Orgasm. Slow build to a huge payoff.

Themata - Karnivool. This song just makes me want to laugh like a maniac while skydiving.

I know there are dozens more if I actually sat down and looked through my library. But I can't, so I won't.

Too many songs to list overall. But one particular song: Asylum from Disturbed. If I'm riding my motorcycle and that song comes on my music player, I have to keep a close eye on my speed or I'll end up going 20 kilometres faster within seconds. :p

As for instruments, I always get energy from hearing a really good beat. Can be any kind of percussion instrument used for the beat or rhythm really.

A lot of the music from Fairy Tail seem to do that for me even if I am indifferent to that particular series in general...
This also applies to the music from Samurai Champloo...

Other than that, without being ninja'd by my past self, this particular song that I [finally] found less than a week ago should fit into this category of energy-filling music:

John Newman - Love Me Again

The opening slow roll into the piano sounds amazing. Gets you super pumped.

Nothing Else Matters and especially Eine Kleine Nachtmusik - the latter so much that I started cynically using it for washing the dishes, throwing out the garbage and, in general, for anything that I normally like to delay for another hour or another day. It works! =)

Anything by the Red Hot Chili Peppers is enough to instantly get me pumped up.

I was at a bowling alley with family and I was down a few strikes. Then, the next song in the lobby was "Dani California" and I became ecstatic. I was singing the lyrics and bowling at the same time; in fact, when I was up to bowl, I actually had the perfect form for the first time and made a strike.

The Peps can really recharge the soul.

Well seeing as how i'm playing through Undertale again I might as well just drop one of the boss themes in here. They're all fuckin' great but I think Spear of Justice tops it.

Also a bunch of stuff in the BlazBlue CP:EX soundtrack is pure hype. I dislike mirror matches in the very rare occasion both players are playing Terumi, y'know the absolute worst character in the game (no standing overhead, no mixup game on a rushdown character GG) but damn the song reserved for mirror matches never fails to make me super hyped up before the match even starts.

The opening to Willie the Pimp is so wicked it should be illegal. I don't normally dance but I always dance to Willie the Pimp.

The list is long. I'll try to narrow it down from everything that's in there right now.
