i like play as a mid range warrior. someone who can attack close up or from far a way.

It really matters what mood Im in. Doing the whole run-n-gun is fun, but also being stealthy, or sniper is fun too. Basically I am on the offensive side of the fight, Im just bad at being medics or spellcasters.

Typically the long range classes (Mage, Archer, Healer) when I have a party I go with. I've found some MMO's with classes that fit my style when soloing (For example, Perfect World International and the Venomancer class. Who gives a damn if it's a female avi, I'm a mage with a pet to serve as my personal tank.)

In RPGs, I usually go for stealthy assassin types if I can't play some type of monster.
When I can play a monster...then I play a stealthy predator.

In actual P&P RPGs, I prefer melee mercenary characters.
Also, I once played a dark magician who was comically evil. It was fun, but I couldn't take him seriously.

In videogames, I usually go for ranged characters like Xbow-rogues or rangers.

I love Druids for pen and paper, especially DnD 3.5. In video game RPGs, I usually go with a rogue/thief type. When I have to choose attributes in an action adventure game, I choose tank skills.

In FPSes, no matter what, I shoot everything. Everything. Especially as a medic.

In Arpegs, I play either a warrior or a magic badass.

In DnD 4, Tiefling Paladin.
