Yesterday I saw Sucker Punch, and the first thing I did when I got back from the theater was get the soundtrack. It's just so intoxicating. And those beautiful remixes of Sweet Dreams and White Rabbit that are totally different, yet stay true to the natures of the songs are such guilty pleasures they should be illegal.

And it was a great film, too

So Escapists, are you fixated on a particular soundtrack at the moment?

I saw the Tron sequel very late in the game. Best soundtrack of the year. I've never heard any Daft Punk that impressed me before, but this was amazing. The music embraced all the wierdness of 80's electronic music without any of the cheesiness, and still gave it a thematic action score bent. Brilliant.

Hehe Here I was going to post Sucker Punch as well. Excellent soundtrack to be sure. My only complaint is it doesn't include the music from the trailers as well.
