The first thought that comes to mind are the Combine from Half-Life 2, they're essentially the aliens that are there to win. Take the resources, enslave the people, destroy environment, repeat.

However, while on the topic of Half-Life I then realize Vortigaunts are right there too, and when Episode 2 rolled round the Vortigaunts said, "Hey see what we can do!" and could explode in lightning killing all the antlions, headcrabs, and harmless squirrels in a mile radius.

So yeah...Vortigaunts win.
